Paint Separation Update

I always thought the point of updates was to simplify or make things better, this update does neither, it's nothing but another method for tanki to suck crystals (and hopefully cash) from players.

 

The simple version of this update would be when buying paint/protection You > Choose paint > choose 1, 2 or 3 protections, a mix match of your choice and then you get 100 attribute points to divide between the protections however you see fit.

 

Like seriously, who is going to pay 500k for zeus paint with no protection, what were the devs smoking when they come up with that idea?

 

Keep bringing out pathetic updates and in a few years you won't have players for your game because you're slowly killing it.

well for first i really dont get why you all talking about the money tanki doesnt say pay or dont play its a free game 2ndly to answer ur 500k zeus question im asking you another question who would pay 500k for XTs exactly the same people

The R button is difficult to press while playing. Maybe it was better the "shift" button.

True. Someone already mentioned that it would be better to have an option in settings to make it always enabled or disabled.

 

I personally have a hard time realizing what those new icons stand for. Maybe in due time I will get used to them.

 

The awesome thing about the update is that the players protection level against your weapon is always shown when pressing Tab. So choosing the right weapon is easier now, but since you don't really know what paints are your opponents wearing it's also tricky/confusing since their color doesn't mean anything anymore.

Awesome update!

 

Just one request for now: Add two separate modules for XP/BP format - one with 10% from Rail and one with 20%, so that players with Wasp and Hornet M2 will be able to access XP/BP battles easier.

 

And maybe fix the fact that the display gets too messy when pressing R with a lot of enemies in front of you, but that's not quite as necessary :)

this updates need lag approval,its affects my performance....

ok i just took a look at what i figured the first later is either T or D or S "triple , double and single" but for now i think if we know what we have in our garage wont be so hard to use i will go check about the 2nd letter now

Umm Intersting and I think you're right ! 

 

About the prices I think that the most expensive paint should cost 250,000 crystals. and the average price should be 80k - 120k ... Do you agree with me ? 

 

For example I know that in the next sale I will be the paint Jade in 15,000 (Full price - 30,000).

I will give it some time, but so for, mixed on the new update. Lots of things to like in it, but some important things not to like.

 

We need the wiki up for the new modules and details of how the MUs will work and cost.

 

Note that there is no way to check one's equipped module. I have to go to the garage to be sure what protection set I have. We used to be able to tell from which paint we had equipped. Now, heck, I can't remember where I put my keys.

 

The single protection module for mines seems silly. So, I could roll over several mines, but I would have no other protection, so easy pickins. Is that supposed to be the point? It isn't sufficient. 

 

It looks like the new modules will be good, but simple. No room for specialization. No way for specialists to pick their favorites and become experts with their chosen equipment and protections. Now everyone is the same. It boils it down to lots of crystals means lots of options. It is getting closer to "pay to win," which is not what this game is supposed to be about. Three protections at 50% will be very effective if properly chosen. The four-protection legacy protections are not going to be very popular after people get a few of the new modules MUd.

 

I assume there is some system or pattern to the names and initials, but I don't see it yet. Please address in the pending wiki pages.

this update make the game for mid ranks too difficult

 

we may hear this news soon:

im sure the wiki editors are working on it , it is their job anyways and about the mine protection i think they made that for parkour battles and tbh if this game will be cheap it will be no fun the fun is really collecting crystals from battle fund to get better and better tank if you have everything it would be really boring and you would quit so quickly

well players have said that before and the game has lasted longer and im sure it will even last longer u people just get angry quickly

i repeat just give the developers time to consider all our opinions we sure made them notice that most of us are angry about it so im sure they will work something out

I hope so, from my experience the developers might do anything.

i was looking in the garage and saw the bulldog kit (m1 hornet, m1 hammer, alien) for 115k, looked at what cost so much. it was the paint, which cost 150k. plz fix this

it has been fixed already. Paint costs 300 000 because its good looking. Dont like it? Dont buy it.

Well, I realized there's another shortcoming. The R key shows protection against enemies we've confronted. There's simply no way we can gauge what turrets (except the one we're using currently) the other enemy's paint is protecting against. This can be a problem in large maps.

This is where I liked the previous paint system. By seeing the texture of the paint, we could see how many turrets the said paint protects against.

This update ISN'T bad. It's just that the prices of the paints have increased TOO much, in fact they should be DECREASING the price. Also, many of use have bought paints previously JUST for their PROTECTIONS rather than for their looks. What we need is another re-balance!!

Well, I realized there's another shortcoming. The R key shows protection against only the weapon we are currently using. If we come across too much protection, then we change our turret. But how to decide which turret to choose now? There's simply no way we can gauge what other turrets the enemy's paint is protecting against. 

This is where I liked the previous paint system. By seeing the texture of the paint, we could see how many turrets the said paint protects against.

The R shows all the protection the paint has, But it is difficult to reach to the R buttom it should be a closer buttom as shift, B, Q etc...
