Exactly, and XTs are pretty useless anyway(unless it's an M3 you don't have yet) because it's 500k juts for the looks,sowhat's the difference between anXT and a paint?

As for the XTs, which is just my opinion, they are more useful than the looks of paints. You can somehow choose to go for Railgun XT instead of Railgun m3. Railgun XT changes something in gameplay, you use it as a weapon, the looks of paint are completely useless that way. :p

The paint separation from the protection will be neither here nor there.  I am unconcerned with appearance of the hull just as long as it blends with the background, to be inconspicuous.  I can see why the developers might want paints with only 3 protections and not 4.  It would probably mean more destruction because of susceptibility against a greater range turrets.  I think that this is to make tanks more vulnerable over all.  Perhaps new modules might offer something better but at this stage can not say.  Usually updates are not better for player but ways to increase revenue by reducing effectiveness of equipment or promoting a weapon that has low popularity.

 

By far the greatest disappointment and what will ruin the game by taking away the spontaneity, player experience and and knowledge, including interpretation of the phycology of player behavior within the game.  The capability of monitoring a players fighting capability, MU status module capability and  so on is just ridiculous.  I am uncomfortable with this aspect of the development for other reasons also .  It has most probably been incorporated to create player anxiety, forcing players to either spend more and more money on updates and new modules because they will see on the screen how deficient their tank might be.  That or create situations where players just self destruct and leave the game which happens all too much as it is. 

 

I find it very hard to believe that Tanki staff members, admin and developers are unaware at how unhappy people have been here especially when this update first came to our knowledge.  Their has been an ongoing thread expressing many very negative view on the matter.  It is quite surprising that development time as been wasted on an update that will prove to be unpopular instead of attending to very well known problems within the game.  Tanki is loosing players,  have fewer servers, they often empty or only have few players.  There definitely appears to be a big problem with player retention.  It seems very strange, that this sort of update has even been contemplated. 

 

I have come to realize over time that Tanki never goes back on an update, no matter how badly it has been received.  So I guess, that will be it.  It will be interesting to find out what happens over the next year or so with the games survival.  I hope for those that stay and especially for the employed staff that tanki carries on and that I am wrong because essentially at its core  is an enjoyable game except for multing, hacking and bullying behavior.

People who are posting, that some paints have higher prices, just don't buy it.. buy moeules and I hope prices will be changed for both modules and paints I hope :unsure:

You seem to be not getting the point. The intentions have nothing to do with the players' issues. Their issue is that they paid for Premium including this 15% paint. This protection has been taken away, meaning a part of what they paid for has been stolen from them. Don't start talking about the intentions or the UELA, because it has NOTHING to do with the players' issues regarding Premium and it'd clearly show that you have no feeling with the players whatsoever.

You needed way less for full garage 2 years ago. It's all about economics, because they need to keep all those generalissimos playing.

I really doubt that the primary motivation for generalissimos to keep pLaying is the opportunity to keep paying  :rolleyes: Personally I am here for a bit of [harmless] fun, to relax after some hard day's work. In fact when I'm in a spending mood I go to one of my favourite sections in a nearby mall, rather than spend good money on collecting virtual indulgences from some strange guy in a faraway cave  :blink: Having all the crystals in the world and nowhere to spend them is highly unlikely to have any influence on my preference to stay or go.

well i tried going into bp battle with 20% on m3 wasp and it worked fine but i think i  can 2 shot a prodigi havent faced any 3 shots so far im not sure if he is fully right

i lost my faith with them over the years with all our complaints about issues has any of them ever been fixed.. no.. all i have heard it's my computer or my internet.. its never tanki .. there perfect.. and yet what happened this week with the virus .. sorry if you think im provoking others

I don't understand what you mean by that, I think of XTs as being just the normal version but with enhanced looks, so, I already have thunder, railgun, hornet and viking M3, so I would never buy any of them as XTs, because I alreadyhave the normalM3s, with micro upgrades, so theyare actually better thanthe XTs.

I love the fact that people like this guy, who have been playing for a day, have the nerve to come and complain about quitting. As though it took them the year(s) that people have committed to this game. Ridiculous.

This has nothing to do with moderator crud. It's about understanding others feelings and reasoning. It doesn't matter if you're a mod or not, at this point and on this matter, we all have the same knowledge. You should not only let your brain speak. That way you can't adapt to the situation, you miss others' feelings and reasoning if you only rely on rules which is a pity.

 

 

I'm not gonna fight him. If he wants it, he knows to find the PM option I guess.

Yeah, I used to think like that. You think like that because you already have the normal version of Railgun. Players who don't have Railgun yet at all, can go for the XT version right away. This is just my opinion of course.

WAIT, that's so true!

 

What happens to Godmode_On's paint? Is there a Godmode_On protection module? A Godmode_On paint? Can we get that in circulation please?! Like, I'm willing to forget all the bad things about this update if they just chuck in the paint and module for 10 million crystals each. That sounds ALL GOOD to me!
