I have a question. Sorry if its been asked before I don't want to check through the pages.

 

The beauty of the paint determines the price. Before the update, it was more like the protections of the paint determines the price. Beauty had little to do with it. Why does a paint cost more now without its protections?

Because now Paints have got nothing to do with protections. They're not an integral part of game dynamics. They're just a cosmetic feature now. Just like XT weapons. Only for rich players to spend on. That's why, the better they look, the costlier they are.

Just, make the unlocks of cooler paints higher so that the people arguing against higher prices of PURELY AESTHETIC items will relax

Why have paints unlock at rank? If they are appearance-only from now on, why not make it free market, available to whoever can afford them? Let price determine who can buy. If someone really wants an expensive paint, let them buy crystals with real money to get it. After all, there is no impact on game play. I just don't see any reason to keep paints rank-restricted anymore.

 

Gifts aren't rank-restricted... Paints shouldn't be either.

I looked at the MU costs of protection modules.

 

At M3 level, 50% protection will cost you approx:

Single Module - 250,000

Double Module - 500,000

Triple Module - 900,000

- Buy a car.

 

- Feed yourself for a year.

 

- Renovate the kitchen

 

- Buy a sweet gaming rig.

 

- MU a single tank/paint set.

 

 

 

Dark Orbit was one of the first games to take Pay2Win to such insane levels. It worked for the developers for a few months, before they realised free players didn't enjoy being cannon fodder, and spenders didn't enjoy forking out enough cash to buy a car.

I like the paint separation! :) But now some of the kits need to be upgraded with their paints... For example, the Bulldog kit which comes with the m1 hammer and m1 hornet and a paint is now 105,000 crystals because the paint is so expensive. Please think about lowering prices of paints or changing paints on kits. :)

This reply is to all the tankers who compare paints with XT Turrets and Hulls. See,

I have 2 points to state,

1. Firstly, You cant get Paints in missions.
2. Secondly, when you buy (or) get XT you dont get the turret/hull without its For Eg: Damage,movement speed etc.You get the XT which is of use.Whereas, the paints here dont even do their job, they are just paints(its just like a turret XT without the ability to shoot)

This reply is to Hamzi32 who does not compare paints with XT Turrets and Hulls. See,

1. Firstly, You can get XT Turrets and Hulls in the garage.
2. Secondly, when you buy (or) get XT instead of the m3 turret/hull, you are buying it for a lot more crystals than the m3 costs, when it does exactly the same job. However, it just looks nice, and you are paying a lot of crystals for it. Paints are just like that, you buy it for many crystals, just so you tank looks nice.

 

Thats what i would like to say to those Hamzi32 who thinks these paints and not like XT's

Wow didn't understand a word about the paints. Any chance you'll fix the glitches in the shaft turret, this side of hell freezing over? Tired of getting dizzy every time I spawn. No didn't think so. No change there, where it would really count.

You missed out something, you just said "and then block them"

But that isnt maximum benefits,

 

You'd get them into a battle, tell your favourite chat/battle mod to come and report them instead of yourself,

And they'll get a bit more of salary
