Excellent point. And guess what, I agree with you. Of course you could just say buy the module and buy a cheap Elemental Paint, but who says I want a gross looking paint? I want Zeus with it's protections! Well, you see, I agree, it's a bad update, but just be calm about it, and maybe the devs can do something about it, change up the update. All you gotta do is be calm, they don't wanna be hated for they update they worked hard on, stop being mean to them and things could work out just fine.

What they've done is make the price of paints go up, seemingly dependent on the paints' looks, and create multiple modules - you get to use any paint you've got in your garage with protection modules of your choice; you've literally got the choice to change the protection of a paint in your garage.

 

The paints are pretty much "Skins" now - just for the looks. It's a part of the update and it's something we'll need to adapt to.

I don't see it from you're point of view, I don't agree with you, but I respect your opinion, and I think that's what everyone should do, and then things could work out.

I have been IRL until an hour ago, coming back to this game.  Checking this thread first.  Wow - just wow.

 

I've played for about 30 minutes of a loser Poly CP battle and don't see much of a difference in game play.  Yes, it is harder to tell which tanks I should aim for at any distance.  That is about it.

 

I did try and fool enemies by wearing Lumberjack paint but using the legacy Module from Tiger.  No one really fell for it.

 

I noticed I have a day of Premium.  That's nice, but I'm not sure how many of those hours I will actually be in the game.

 

Now off to take a closer look at what they've done to the garage.

Good. Premium was OP anyway, and it still is. If you're getting premium for the paint, you're a fool.

 

They got the protection back, it just took slightly longer than other paints because they're special.

I just bought Winter, I always liked how it looked, and I never cared about it's protections, so why not? I don't like the names of the modules, they're a bit confusing, if you know what I mean. I only find a few problems with the update altogether, but those problems happen to really annoy me which is why I don't like this update much.

I can list the problems if you'd like.

Would you stop acting for a sec and you know that tanki is being completely stupid i see what you trying to do but its not going to help. Right now tanki will lose a lot of tankers because of this one stupid update.

Do you honestly think Tanki is taking a chill? Taking a day off? Supposedly even forgetting about the game? Lag isn't an old problem, and every time there's a major update, lags should increase, it's not an uncommon thing upon games.

This update has made the price of kits skyrocket. Maybe the developers should put the protections in with the kits instead of the paints

(2) I also stand by what I said about the devs coming across the problem. O bet you, if you told Cedric the problem (he'll probably never find it already mentioned in the flood people are making), he'd look into it.

(4) I have some questions for you; if the updates so dumb, why don't you quit? Why isn't everyone quitting right now? Why would Tanki release an update if they knew everyone would quit Tanki because of it? Answers: Because it's not really THAT bad. Yes it's bad, but not as much as you say it is, not enough to drive you away from the game. And because they didn't know people would hate it so much, no game purposely releases an update that the majority of the game will hate, that's dumb. That camera update from about a year ago, Tanki removed that, and they changed the premium account paint protection from 18% to 15%, they can work this out too.

I said, lag is a problem in this game, and upon many games. RU1 will probably never be 100% lag free, it's practically impossible. But taking away this update won't fix the lag.

When premium accounts was just released, the premium paint had 18% against all turrets, people complained about it, so they lowered it to 15%. And now you're complaining they lowered it to no protection? 3 months ago, everyone said premium accounts was a scam, and one of the reasons was because of that very paint, so when that paint gets taken down, don't start crying.

Yes we're complaining because we've paid for it and we're not getting it now ! I just bought another 3 months of it last week and now I'm not getting the paint that I was made aware I was paying for.

Well, I don't know what to say to that. Tiger right now is no different from Thunder XT. Both 500 000 crystals, for appearance only, no one complained about that.

Maybe suggest in a PM to Cedric that they should lower all the prices all together. Also, I bet Tanki will have much bigger discounts on paints now that they're useless. I wouldn't be surprised to see 80% off.

Yes we're complaining because we've paid for it and we're not getting it now ! I just bought another 3 months of it last week and now I'm not getting the paint that I was made aware I was paying for. 

To be honest, you've stumped me, I don't know a solution to a problem like that. You paid money for the premium paint, and now there's no premium paint... yea, I don't know. Perhaps Tanki should just give you your money back (well, the percentage you deserve). All I could suggest to you is to PM Cedric about it (politely), or I could do it for you, because he won't find anything in this topic anymore, it's useless to search for a worthy comment.
