But that's how I roll. It is a major part of my game. If hiding and ambush was never really a big part of the game, then just remove all the walls and buildings.

Those are for cover, but not really much for hiding. And if a player is actually able to use this to their advantage, then it's fair to let them have said advantage, because it doesn't seem to be that useful or convenient anyway.

there are users spending a significant amount of crystals on gifts, which are basically just images with nothing to practical to offer. So yes, users will definitely be spending crystals to buy expensive paints, even if that's just for the looks.

ways to make more money... Not bad as it didnt change the gameplay at all and you choose if you want to send a gift.

There's always a drop in the peak of players in summer each year - people go on vacations, take time off etc.

And 2-3 years ago there was no break and holidays ? This you can talk to small children before bedtime. just look at my list of friends all most gismo , but no one plays anymore thanks to such update like this.

To be honest, tanki developers should leave the game alone because it's good enough and doesn't really need these updates which everyone hates and are unwanted by most players. Now if devs updated it, I hope they'll consider that players wont like extra prices and anything that changes the gameplay. At all.

I agree, they should put more focus into fixing the laggy servers, especially RU1. This update, while not as bad as many believe, was not necessary and the timing (middle of major tournament) is just horrible...

Many of my friends left the game too. Not just because of this update but because of many others.

Players were always leaving because everyone gets bored at some point after playing the same game for many years. The reason the overall number of players is decreasing is because the leavers (the rate of which was always quite steady) don't get replaced by new players as much because developers removed most, if not all, marketing for the game and are not attracting new players into it. Because there is simply no point getting new players into an old game, when Tanki X is getting released soon.

You take something fairly simple, and make it complicated... just another case of someone in the programming dept that felt like they needed to justify their salary by making a suggestion for a big change. what they, and no one else in the conference room at the time, didn't ask themselves  - is simply this: "will this attract more new players and help retain existing players?"...

 

the answer is NO. It will not for the most part help retention, and it certainly will not attract new players. It's strictly based on increased revenue generation for new players. But I'll tell you from experience (game dev IT, ios based, some android) that its probably going to cause a change in the revenue curve that will result in a 5-15% decrease in revenue. New players will now spend less, existing players in low and mid-ranks will spend the same but in a more spread out manner, and experienced players will spend close to nothing (aggregated average). 

 

It's an accepted fact that rank increase frustration is felt more at the lower and mid ranks, and the increase in cost to upgrade will drive away many new players. Sign-on percentage will stay the same per week, drop-off at 3-10 weeks will spike massively, and 3-6 months players will also drop off at a higher rate. Boring huh? True though.

That will be a nightmare... I've tested the game though. It doesn't feel like Tanki at all :\

 

I use a d3d9 hook to improve my graphics instead. Here's a screenshot of how tanki looks when I'm playing it with my mod:

 

 

It needs approx as much power as needed to play Tanki X on full graphics 1080p and for me, it works without problems, smooth 60 FPS as always. I can create a YT Video showing how the mod works and a video of a short gameplay taken with a camera recording the screen physically from outside. I can also make many settings for low-end PCs. Small increment in GPU Usage, major increase in looks :D

Honestly I love this update ! Before the update I couldn't have the color I wanted with the " extra buffs " I wanted, NOW I CAN !!! And also great job stopping the virus that threatened Tanki, your whole team saved a great game !!! Sorry getting off topic ( Pun not intended ) . Well that's just about it, I love this update and I hope for more great ones soon !!

I think its a good update but it has made paint just a mess. People are made to buy paint for only beauty which serves no good thing in it, except those paint which are for camouflage but they are made too cheap which will make people think its useless but the mods are very useful, all the mods at m3 if mu fully serve best protection that is 50% so i liked the mods too much.  ^_^

I played Tanki X once, it's just terrible, everything is over done, to play on high graphics you need a pc that is at least twice as powerful. By killing the flash TO, the developers will also be killing the entire TO.

Yeah, I used to think like that. You think like that because you already have the normal version of Railgun. Players who don't have Railgun yet at all, can go for the XT version right away. This is just my opinion of course. 

Yes but that only makes sense if you don't have M3 railgun at generalissimo and you get a missions, buying it still doesn't make sense because the normal railgun is about 1/3 of the price, and unlocks at the same rank.

So they're telling us they want the two games to continue side by side, yet they have removed marketing and you're saying "there is simply no point getting new players into an old game". You're basically saying THE EXACT OPPOSITE of what the v-log has told us, which makes no sense, and I have been playing this game for 2 years, I have been thinking about buying crystals but now I am seriously reconsidering even playing tanki anymore...
