I still believe this update was unnecessary in its entirety. There could have been changes rather than this which I have noted on above. 

I've cooled down, too. Now I no longer think of the devs as being clueless, just misguided.

Yup. I think you just have to look at the player logs to see how many younger, low-rank players will just despair of the price, and the silly updates, and when the numbers crunch, judge for yourself whether this was a "smart" update financially. When I think of all the missed opportunities to really make the site popular and profitable, it's depressing. Basically, you have a great product but you won't stop messing with it until you ruin it.

And then you will blame somebody else.

I like it, but there is one thing that I really not understand why you guys have changed. MANY OF THE PAINTS COST MORE! Kits are costing more to. Before the with Hammer M1, M1 Hornet and Alien cost 30k, now it cost 115k because of Alien as cost like 100k or something. It is to no need. Why change the price of the paints? I want the prices of the paints back.   :mellow:

I think they should make all the details stay shown if we press R and disable it if we press R again.

 

Also for people who don't like this update, they should have the PRO battle option to create battles where the players details are not shown when pressing R

Now that the onslaught of posts has somewhat slowed down, and I can sort of keep up, I'd like to address some concerns.

 

First of all, I understand that many of you are frustrated for a number of valid reasons. You're unhappy about the new prices; about the special paints and how their protections have been reworked; about how how the R key is too far away and how it's not practical to use when there are lots of tankers on screen or your opponent is too far away; about how the update has turned around the whole "strategy" mechanic; and lots of other things.

 

Guys, I get it. And it's taken me so long to reply because I've been trying to digest all of it, and that's a pretty big meal.

 

Now, let me explain the situation.

 

Together with the moderators team, we've been going through all of your comments and organizing them into a document, which is now in the hands of the developers. The document includes not only the things that you dislike, but also WHY you dislike them, and what you're suggesting we do to change them.

 

In short, we've presented your feedback in a way that is clear, logical, and easy to understand and digest. I believe that if we want change, this is the best way to achieve it.

 

Of course, I am not in a position to promise you that all of your requests will be fulfilled. But I promise you that I'll do my best to achieve a balance that works well for everyone. I trust I have your support in this matter.

Bro the thing is that the update is good if it only stops after dividing paint elements and protective modules but pls pls pls remove those new modules..they destroy the game balance.You need to understand that we like tanki the way it is..Before launching an update yo should consult players..Imagine a 3 vs 3 battle now..Mostly 1 team used 1 fire,twins,1 more weapon..From now on 1 man or each player from opponents can have protection from all weapons of my team..How would it be balanced now?

Everything is worse !!! WHERE THE HELL IS 2013-2014 TANKI ONLINE? I miss it so much !

 

A lot of players just gone because of u and u're updates!!! Just try to bring back a 2013 TO Server and u will see how many players will be online ! That was Tanki !! This is a crap, a kid game with a lot of colors and weird stuff !!! All those MU's, modules, premium accounts, turrets, unbalance maked the game worse. Where are the days when teams worked as a team? Even if they were hunting cry boxes, they just tried to protect base to catch some crystals !!! 

 

TO developers NEVER listen and NEVER listened to players and they're opinions !!! I am gone, and 30-40k players as well. (I mean, players that play daily and invest money in the game). 

 

Loved 2013-2014 TO, miss it.

Look, I am a BP player, and I hate this. But you gotta understand that this is actually more fair, I know this and this is why, even tho I hate it, I can accept it. Wasp is a lot faster and more agile than Hornet which is a big big plus. And come on, 75% is quite exaggerated. I hardly get 1 shot. (not 'defending' this update, my opinion).

Agreed buddy. I hardly play with Wasp in XP/BP and Wasps indeed have an advantage. Wasps without protection are indeed not killed with 1 shot 75% of time. That's indeed exaggerated. Wasp has 149.56 protection and looking at this graph, it's more like 27.33% of the shots of Railgun that's able to kill Wasp m3 with 1 hit.

Logic.

 

Show me ONE person who has quit Tanki because of this update. And by quit, I mean not here, not posting, and will not come back.

Peak players going from 100,000+ players down to 60,000's. They don't post the player graph anymore because it shows that Tanki is dying. They hide the games you can't play because of rank to show that the servers are empty. I remember times when 5 or 6 servers were full and couldn't be gotten on. Wake up
