People use the C key

You can't just come in and say "I don't use the C key and it means that no one is using it so you can replace twitch the V key"

I didn't say that nobody uses it. I said that I don't use it, and the majority of tankers that I know, don't use it too.

I don't have premium and the majority of tankers that I know don't have it too. Why isn't premium getting removed from the game then?

That comparison makes no sense. That's like saying ''I don't have smoky m3 and neither do the majority of tankers I know''. This is about a control that is not necessary, not something you own in TO.

It is necessary for me and a lot of other tankers

You can put your update in one place! That all is for making another way of money! :-)

Well, a lot of smart players know that update online changes the options and the look, but not games perfomance, which isnt changed for like year now.

To make more profit, fix the games perfomance! Also fix perfomance in TankiX developers! Games look is useless, if perfomance sucks. Cant enjoy the game, if everything in each battle lags, catch memory fills up really fast with **** stuff, RAM is used abnormaly, frames are low on high graphic, PC boils as mad. That is not a work on game, that is work of trying to make more profit.

Sad that here is a lot of non-brain players, who spends sooo much money on this game. :-(

Wait, does this mean, that the premium account paint doesn't come with all the protections???

(it didn't when i last checked :(  )

Yes. Premium paint has 0% protection now.

Well, that is exactly why TX is in Closed Beta Testing Phase. It's hardly optimised for performance. They're working on major glitches and bugs now. The final version of the game will work very well on all PC's having the required hardware/software.

I love how some are only tagging on on p203

What? I understood 0% of that sentence.

Even 1000 players are  a lot

But you don't know if there are 1000 that use it.

I am beginning to really like this update because the developers are working around the clock to fix bugs and glitches, and improving this update as well.

Please explain to me what is the purpose of separating paints away from their protections and why do we now have protective modules instead?

I am Lieutenant Colonel and wish to buy 'Progidi',  I have enough crystals and really like it. However I cannot buy it because my rank is too low and the required rank is Marshall. Why has tanki not allowed for lower ranks to buy all paints since they don't include protections anymore? Is it because higher rank players should look better?

You're easily pleased if you consider that a victory.  200 pages and all we get is a hotkey change. They say they listen and that's because it's impossible not to. Nobody says they have to act on any feedback. They act when they want to and because they want to, not because we want them to. They have too much past form and their behaviour pattern is not changing. Argue with me if you like but only actions can prove me wrong.

The pattern goes something like this

  • They'll purposefully overprice things knowing full well that we will complain
  • Buyers still buy them at their hugely inflated release prices
  • Then they lower prices when the graphs and reports say it's time to do so, maximising $$$, but pretending to act in our interests.
Same goes for tweaking hulls or turrets

  • Make them overpowered initially
  • Buyers buy them
  • Other players complain
  • When the front-line buyers dry up, nerf the items saying something like, "we monitored the situation closely and listened to your feedback..."
  • The front-line buyers complain they just wasted 500k crystals on item and the mods say #eula - in your faces suckers!
As I say, tanki has too much past form so none of this should come as a surprise to us anymore. It's a system that has worked so well for them over the years.

At least we have a scrollbar in the shop.

Agreed old friend

I cannot bare to write in the forum anymore, the game has no surprises anymore.

Players would be well advised to weigh your words with great regard.

Answers to your most asked questions :

Q: Will kits contain paints, modules, or both? (or none?)

A: Some kits might contain only a paint (no protection). Some might only contain the module (no paint). Other kits might have both paints and modules.  As usual, kits will periodically get refreshed to offer tankers some bargains for buying items in a kit rather than individually.

Update :  A new batch of kits will be rolled out during the next coming week to adapt them to the new update.  All the details will be posted in due time.

The above highlighted text

Why is it not mentioned in the description of the kit. How will we know that there is a module or a paint or both?

Actually no, that's not the way things work. The truth is there is no real way to know whether a weapon is going to be overpowered unless you test it on the live servers. Test servers will only give you a limited view due to the fact that the size of participants is only a very small fraction of the real player pool. On the test servers, only the biggest problems become noticeable. Smaller ones slip right past the radar. But once they're on the live servers, these "smaller" problems start gaining momentum very quickly, and the problem grows exponentially. That's when the devs finally manage to see the problem.

And this isn't even an incident isolated to Tanki Online. Look at any other MMO. All of them present the same pattern. Almost any new piece of equipment will undergo at least a minimum amount of tweaking.

There's another thing. Every new little thing that is introduced in a game, tends to shift the balance for existing items to a greater or lesser degree. And that's something that devs need to monitor continuously.

The same thing goes for pricing. Devs will pitch a specific price according to their estimates, and then might adjust according to how the economy responds.

The truth is that it's safer to err towards the more expensive than the cheaper, because if you price something too cheaply, you risk ruining the item for good, whereas if you price too high, the only thing that will happen is that people won't buy, in which case all you need to do is lower the price. And in case you're wondering, no this isn't some hare-brained scheme invented by Tanki devs. This is actually the way it works in the real world.

Hair-brained? The real world? Patronisation aside, you have confirmed in this last paragraph that what I wrote is true. As I said, tanki "purposefully overprice and overpower...", we can beg to differ on the reasoning behind it.

If you were truly monitoring the situation fully for genuine gaming, fairness and balance reasons and not just for cold hard cash, you'd monitor who bought what and when. That way, when you come out 6 weeks later and say, "Tankers, we have monitored the situation closely and listened to your feedback. We are going to reduce the cost by x,000 crystals. In the next server update, those tankers we initially overcharged will receive the difference in cost..."

Unfairness is a theme that runs right though Tanki Online and given enough time I could write a book on it. You can either make excuses for it or you can take this feedback on-board and try to address the failings players like me highlight. Don't get me wrong, I want this game to succeed just as much as you do but sometimes I feel like reporting you lot for sabotage! At times, it's almost as if you want this game to fail, honestly!

Yep. Players like me have lost confidence in the game and the product.

That's not happened for a very long time.
