Paint Separation Update

This update has too many dum problems (i havent even seen my garage yet cuz of the glitch !!!) once i see it ill point out more

i have decided , once i get my pocket money next month im buying an Xbox fed up of this , tank is getting worse day by day that is it !

Several issues that did not come up yet:

 

THUNDER will not be bought anymore.

There were used to be paints where one of the protection elements were higher than the others such as emerald which had 42% defense as a start against thunder.

Now you need to spend much more money and have 35% as a start (M3). So in order to have 42% defense (plus other protections), you should spend much more.

 

Another issue that was not mentioned here is the fact that if you want to play XP/BP and your rank is high enough, you can either use zero protection or buy 35% protection (M3).

 

All the other points that were raised here are valid: Kits should have protections and not paints, the prices are high and it js awkward to play like this.

 

I have more suggestions to increase TO unplayability:

Each Turret will be sold without ammunition. You need to buy ammunition separately. There will be M0-M3 shells or fuel for each turret.

Also sell the hulls without wheels and chains. If you want to drive your tank, you should buy wheels and chains separately.

IMO these special paints will remain the same. Gold, silver, bronze, helper, acid, veteran and soo on. Only those whcih you can purchase will be divided in these modules ;)

This looks like implementing something new or just keep everything like it is, and just allow players to customise look of their paint ;) Clear for me now :D

Sooo... you guys got a few question on this whole "Modules" thing. Well, lets take a look what is going to happen and why.

 

Long time ago in the Tanki Online there was only a few paints with protections. They were reletively easy to remember and just as easy to play against. But then infamous Rebalance changed protections alot and Microupgrades turned them into really complicated problem. You could no longer know what are you dealing with. There are too many paints to remember and too many protection combinations to understand what are you dealing with. You just don't know anymore how many shots enemy tank will take.

 

Also, you could never buy and use paint you like, you should've buy paint you need instead. Or you will be considered as a sabotaging mult at some cases.

 

Another problem is that with all those paints out there you can't really use many of them. Only a few can provide decent protection. Others, especially low-ranked ones, are basically useless junk.

 

This is what this updates addresses to. We are trying to allow you to use any paint you want with any protection combination you want.

 

As they said in V-LOG if you got a protection paint you will have a paint and a protection module. Ok, easy part, but how will they work?

 

Think of module as of another paint, but it doesn't change how your tank looks. Modules will have their own button in the garage and will be equiped just like paints. New paints will work the opposite way — they will not provide you with any protection, but will change how your tank looks. They will be two separated entities that you will be able to equip on your tank.

What is going to happen with paint that got 4 protections? Well, you will get a module with 4 protections. The reason is why V-LOG using 3 protection module (Trio) as an example is that legacy modules from current paints will not use new M-based modification system. They will be able to be upgraded to their current maximum, but only new modules will be able to be upgraded further. The twist is that legacy modules will use up to 4 protection as current protection paints does, but new modules will provide only 3 protections at once.

Now, something on upgrade limitations. Legacy modules will be upgradable to their current maximum, as I said, no changes there. New modules will be upgradable to 50% from every turret on m3+mu. As you can see, if your current modules is already upgradable to 50% from every turret, you will have no need in new module with same protection combination.

 

Also, new modules will not have different protection levels. Today you can find a paint with protections be let's say... 15% 40% and 20%. New modules will have only same levels (thanks to that change to MU system we made last year). So if you see a tank with 34% protection from your turret you can know for sure it will have same level of protection from other two turrets.

 

So yeah, this is how it works. I hope I did clarified some things for you guys.

interesting that when the Dev's sat down to look over our concerns .. something changed cause the 4 tier system went out the window .. even thou they claim to be giving it to us..

 

dev's start talking we need answers ...

Well, that's pretty goofy. Instead of seeing that an Isida has Needle on (without any stupid onscreen clicking...who does that in a battle??), I now have to guess what level of protection he has from my Shaft.

A fine move to eliminate an advantage a skilled player had when analyzing enemies. What a crock.

Tanki Take this update back or i can bet for 1000 $ that u will loose many player i mean many many many players will leave this game

 

This is the 2nd most worst update i had in my 3 year TO career

 

The worst was removal of crystal boxes

 

if there was a dislike button this topic would of got 1000 + Dislike in 24 hrs

tanki ate my 2 protection from modulus of atom... i have proof of my last upgrade i did..i want my two protections of each turrent back in atom modulus!!!!! any mod pls help

There is no fun in playing this game anymore

Maybe tankionline will be happier if non-buyers like me leave the game as it is just not worth it anymore

Why would you bring out an update that no one playing the game wanted?

If it's just that you are greedy, then remember that if non buyers leave the game, buyers too will leave it leaving you bank balance at-----> $0

Take this Update back

Reduce the prices of paints

Zeus doesn't even look like it's worth 500k

We understand that Change is the only constant, but this update does not appear to the friendly to those who have worked so hard in coming up the ranks and were eyeing the next Kit, Hull, Paint etc.

 

1st - The 4 gun protection is gone, should not have. If you can have 3 protection module, 4 can be added as well.

2nd - The Special paint protection is gone. I do not have any special paint, but this will hurt the ones who have earned it by playing hard the most.

3rd - The Kits do not make sense any more. With the paint being just a show piece the overall kit does not sound lucrative/value for Cry anymore.

4th - Remove the R button feature, It would be fun and more engaging in battle when we do not know what the opponent is protect with.

4th - The upgrade means to me 2 things well thought of:

              a: Make Tanki players pay more for every equipment (Targeted to those who do not buy anything from real money, Why - because one                    who buy with money, will still continue to buy. Those who do not buy will have to try more harder as they will need more and more                      Eventually will be frustrated. It is kind of saying that slowly as you move up the ranks it would be impossible to survive until you spend

                 Money.

               b: The ranking up would be more difficult, not because you can still rank up at the same pace as before the upgrade but because you                    will need hell lot of crystals to buy more powerful equipment to survive at higher ranks - You will always be short of Cry and weak.                       Good thing - newer rankups will be all same, but people sitting at higher ranks before the upgrade will always be more powerfull - So                   There is an imbalance.

 

 

I was so waiting for the next rank to buy the Twin m3/Viking m3/Tiaga paint (With 4 protection) - which does not make sense to me anymore :-)

Best update evah, emerald now on xp/bp :)  turtle kit will be affordable.. yay
