[Declined] Choose not to buy paints in Kits

Hey Tanki,

With the new paints update, the old paints now do nothing, and many people like me don't need them anymore.

However, I realized that the prices have risen for some paints, and as a result, the prices of kits have risen.

Before the update, I really wanted to purchase the Anaconda kit once I was a Warrant Officer 5. Then, it was around 120 000 crystals. And keep in mind, at that time Python did a great job against Freeze.

 

But now, Python costs 100k! A paint that does nothing! And this has made the Anaconda Kit 150 000 crystals.

 

And the truth is: I don't want to buy the Python Paint. At the mid-ranks, we should care about equipment, not style.

 

So please, make paints separate from Kits. Otherwise, so many kits will become ruined and useless because of the price hike, and also because the paints now do nothing.

 

Paints should be a way to save crystals, not waste them on useless items that you are forced to buy.

The useless paints will be removed from kits in the next rotation and possibly replaced with modules. But there will never be an option to not buy certain items from a kit. A kit is a kit and you either accept the deal or buy the items you want separately (without the kit)

Q: Will kits contain paints, modules, or both? (or none?)

A: Some kits will contain only a paint (no protection). Some will only contain the module (no paint). Other kits will have both paints and modules.  As usual, kits will periodically get refreshed to offer tankers some bargains for buying items in a kit rather than individually.  

Update :  A new batch of kits will be rolled out during the next coming week to adapt them to the new update.  All the details will be posted in due time.

Do the kits in this rotation have the same protection that they used to or is it just paint with no protection? Would like to buy a kit that is available now, but not without the protection.

Some of the paint prices in kits are ASTRONOMICAL considering they offer no protection.  I think "Alien" in the "Bulldog" kit was listed at 150,000!!!

 

I assume this was not intentional - and is a result of failure to adequately test the most recent feature changes before putting them on line... but if not.... ARGHHHHHH!

Well, the Tanki devs were nice and added modules to kits, so I am happy now. :D
