 The team who is working on lags has nothing to do with the team who is working on the paints update. You're free to have no interest in the new paints. If you don't buy them, your gameplay will not suffer in the least. Why object to something that doesn't affect you at all?

And will you be able to test it in Test Server soon before it gets put in the Main Game?

Although you're using a couple of objectionable words in here, I still chose not to remove your post.

 

The paints update didn't prove too popular. However, it's based on a vision for improving the game by adding customization options, which is a good thing, so we're doing our best to find a middle ground to make everybody happy.

 

As for this update, contrary to what you claim, it does NOT hurt anybody in any way. If you like the paints and can afford them, feel free to buy them. If you don't, then don't buy them! Simple! Be honest here, have you ever bought something that was a more expensive version of an item, simply because it had a cool brand and wanted to look more hip? If you haven't, you're part of an extremely small minority.

 

What kind of protections will the 8 new paints bring to players?

 Paints no longer have any protection. Now, paints serve as a status symbol.

 

this is how Tanki is now going everything will be bought .. why spend more money to a company that ignores the players who pay there bills .. all they want is more , more , more . more .......etc...'

 

there never going to be happy they need to stop and see where there wasting there own money and one area to look into are the Dev's .. they come up with these hair brain ideas that in about 6 months to a year they change them .. so far the only thing i have seen stay for over a year and that was when they removed crystal drop box's everything else turns out to flop in there laps .. there wasting time and money on useless updates .. work on making this game the way it was .. we all enjoyed it.. oh wait  i can see what the future will be .. is there wont be any more tanki ...but it will all be merged into one game ...so sad to see ...

That's not exactly a fair comment is it? PART of the reason for creating this new shop was to make it more convenient for buyers to find what they want to buy. We also included the paints for people who are interested in customizing their tank with some unique content.

 

Additionally, there HAVE been quite a few updates that have remained in the game. I'm sure you could name a few if you took some time to think about it. You've been with us a lot longer than I have in fact  :) 

 

Perhaps those who arent working on lags should pause their work for a short time and everyone get on the lag issue :)

 That's not how it works. Different teams work on different issues. And because of the nature of the work, it is not practical for teams to take over each others' tasks. Writing code is a very involved process. To give you a very basic example, imagine your friend was studying from a physics text book and got half way through. If you were to pick up from where he left (the middle) and get to the end, you would likely fail the exam, even though you technically finished the book.

 Because it was killing the dialogue in the forum. People got lazy and just down-voted rather than taking the time to explain WHY they didn't like something.

 

Will the 2 new premium paints be like xt stuff, in the way that you'll still have them if you've bought them during when you've had premium, and you still have them when premium has run out? Or are they like the current premium paint, which disappears when your premium account runs out?

Its not that we hate the paints, its that we were lied to. In the main post it says "The garage now features 8 brand new paints." These are not brand new, some date back to 2013 Valentines Day and 'First Love' was an original paint that was updated with the 'In Love' paint but now bought back.

 

Another issue is the prices, but I think I've argued that enough in the original topic. *cough* Way overpriced.

 

The new shop is fine and I personally like it better than the old one.

I really like the new "Shop" update that combines both the "Buy" button with the "Premium Account" button. Everything in the shop now looks a lot clearer. For people that have sight problems, large text makes it a lot clearer now for people to decide the correct purchase crystal package they want to buy.

 

Also, I am glad that the "Daily Mission" icon has moved to the right hand side of the screen with the "Friends" and "Settings" buttons.

 

This is probably one of the best updates that the developers of Tanki Online has ever made. I say thanks and credit those of you developers that have put this update to the test and that it works perfectly fine.

i think everyone is still mad about the last update and this update is just like selling something on ebay they r like we made all this paints now they r just sitting in our database (just like my freeze and shaft :D) lets get some money off it

Gotta agree with all of that. 750k for a paint is just ridiculous in my opinion. Even a super rare, premium only one was 2/3 of that price and that included protections.

 

They did say new paints, but these are fine. New would have been nicer but for most of the players, including me, this is the first time some of them have ever been in the garage. 

 

And yes, new shop is way more user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing

What was wrong with that though? You get even more personalisation with your tank. The only thing I don't like is that Wasp is now 1 hit in XP/BP

but i think these kinds of additions are also updated thinking about the top ranker... but don't we midrankers play tanki daily?? what we got from the upgrade??

And what about the newbie?? they can only preview new paints.... or you are going to say for new players all the paints are new.... there are many old players who are opening new accounts daily....

 

I do like the paint separation :P  but i don't like the prices of the paints.... average price of the paints are more than 50k :wacko: ..... even with the protection i dont think people ever bought any paint rather they bought kits and paints comes with the packages.... and now.... they dont even want to buy certain kits for paint price.... :(

I think you didn't get what I was on about.

We were told that we would be getting "new" paints, but the paints they added are just old paints that have been renamed.
