Disclaimer: I do not buy crystals nug, I save them, I know it's hard to do, but try to save pls.

 

"Noob Buyer"

 

Imagine you're in a Polygon CP. The rank range is Warrant Officer 1 - Third Lieutenant, and you're a Warrant Officer 2 or something, with a good M1 combo such as Smoky + Viking or something. Now there's this Third Lieutenant . . . with a fully Micro Upgraded M2 Hammer + Hunter combo! What's the first thing you do? You type in the chat, "leve bayar nooob get lawst u hav 2 buy livin in ur mumy's baesmennt dont think i dot now."

"Buyers Ruin Tanki"

 

You know how many times I've seen people say that buyers ruin Tanki, or buyers shouldn't get so many privileges, but I think the opposite is true. Seriously, at my rank, you can buy 6000 crystals for 4 dollars. Yeah, you can buy with double crystal card, but remember, if you're a light buyer (I had $14 spent, $4 of my own money, on TO), that's 3000 crystals for 1 dollar. I could get that in 30 - 60 minutes instead of spending my money! Which I normally do!

And then there's premium, and the shorter ones are way too short. 1 dollar for 1 day, 1 or 2 hours of which you spend. You barely get a few thousand, and guess what? You might've been better off with buying crystals!

 

You think buyers ruin Tanki? Wrong, buyers save Tanki. They are paying for the game you play, so shame on you "noob buyer" nugs!

 

"Better Prices"

 

In the unlikely event that I convinced you to fight for buyer's rights, you ask, "OK our self-acclaimed leader of the fight for buyers, what do you think would be better for buyers?" First of all, I think the crystals you get should be based on your rank. A small change should be enough. Second of all, just double the entire amount of crystals you can purchase and make the Double Crystal Card very rare. Because people only buy during DCC right now, you might have people waiting the 420 blazeit (suggested) days to get it, you'll have buyers piling hundreds of dollars to Tanki AND you'll be giving them fairer crystal amounts. Win-win.

 

Plus, crystals are a virtual currency, which means supply is infinite which simplifies things, leaving demand as the only factor. Making fairer prices, with my rare DCC (A realistic value is 21 days, I'm not kidding) and doubling the entire amount of crystals you get or just making the crystal amounts a little bit more, such as 20% or something boost would be cool.

 

"Unfair Idea"

 

Yeah, it's true. Some people who spent money a few days or something before the announcement of this update (if it ever happens, which its unlikely to) might complain that they did so.

 

All I have to say to them is: "How could you complain?"

So I'm never going to completely agree with Buying since I feel it causes issues in Tanki's economy, but you bring up some quite excellent points. The edits to the buying system you proposed would be great adds in my opinion.

So I'm never going to completely agree with Buying since I feel it causes issues in Tanki's economy, but you bring up some quite excellent points. The edits to the buying system you proposed would be great adds in my opinion. 

Yeah, TO economy would be much better w/o buyers, but y'know it'd be better to have a Tanki, even if it's kinda unfair, than one shut down, developers broke, e.t.c. e.t.c.  ^_^

I think they listened! To me or someone else, anyway. Crystals are doubled! I do not have DCC and it's 12,000 crystals for $4.00! Thank you Tanki!
