Review [Special] Paint Separation Update

You said some kits contains modules, some paints, and some both. I've scouted the whole section of kits and I haven't seen any kit that contains a module, yet alone a module and a paint.  All I see is paints. Is there anyway to find out which has modules, or could you tell us?

There is no main topic. There are no other articles to read. Fen, you just wrote this to save Tanki's butt... And I'm guessing you got paid a lot to do so. The developers just want to make money off of us now, and it's all too obvious. I know, like a lot of Tanki, that you're an XP fan, so you know all about XP. You know that Tanki can ruin their entire game and bring whatever terrible updates they want into this game for the sake of making more money, but they can never mess up XP. (I'm probably gonna jinx it and they're gonna bring in an update that only lets M2s play with M2s and M3s play with M3s or some dumb idea like that).  So I'm gonna go play XP lol. Nice article tho :P

i am fine with this update kinda :huh:  but the thing is most people like to buy kits; like they only buy kits, now with the new update its kinda not fair. The glaze kit should be 130k and thats a fair price for having no protection but what tanki did was they lowered the discount to 15% so the price of the glaze kit (and northner) is still 190k. i dont think this is fair because with that 60k i'm saving i could buy a decent m2 protection module instead of being vulnerable, the winter paint used to have 28(or was it 38)% shaft protection now we dont get that either. also another kit is the bulldog kit

i personally think that kit has the most unfair price. bulldog (m1 hammer and hornet) was 41k now its 115k then take a look at the fireworks kit (m2 hammer and hornet). the fireworks kit costs 155k  and it is an m2 kit the price difference is what 40k. also who could afford the bulldog kit at the rank range, most people have trouble getting at the rank of wo4 itself now u cant get the bulldog kit unless u pay for crystals, even then the guy is basically be scammed. i buy crystals but i don't spend my entire allowance on tanki and they should understand that.

 

SO if tanki can make the kit prices a bit more fair then a lot of people would be happier :D so if u could have a guy that can change the update read this post i would very much appreciate it.

At the end of the day, what remains unaccounted is the effort it takes to reach generalissimo. I'm not talking about just experience or crystals. I'm talking about how much a player 'strains' - financially or otherwise. While on the whole customers could arguably be seen as an infinite source, this does not translate to individual effort/money/time values. You don't want to come to a point where "everyone" has played tanki and no one recommends it simply because they end up feeling like this (bet your bottom ruble on it) -



So every time tanki rolls out a significant game-altering change, make sure the greys are in perspective and not just black/white.

Q: Why is there so much lag after the update?

A: This is most likely caused by tens of thousands of players constantly switching between lobby, battles and garage to figure out how the new update works. The lag should gradually subside as players get used to the new system.

Won't it be great if this is so?  Then Tanki will not have to spend lots of time and effort to restore the level of playability that it had three years ago when I first found the game.  I have my doubts.  :(

Ya'know we lower ranked players will never have the ability to have paints with as much protection as (Needle, Prodgi, Zeus,ect) Also and the kits will never be the same. It angers me that we will never have modules like most high rank players have. Thanks Tanki with the biggest money move.

Hi I'm a newer tanker so your more positive outlook on the new update was heartening since I haven't play that long so I really hope it is a plus to the game overall. Also I was wondering why the more practical paints are cheaper then the bright flashy paints, I myself am a more practical tanker I don't want to stand out I want to blend in so that I can strike with out my enemy knowing from whence it came. You also mentioned new kits? Is there any truth to that or are you just saying that in a hopeful way? I hope there are new, more economical kits!

Faze I partially agree, yes we won't have such paints as Zues,Spark or Nano but the modules are not that pricey really when you think about it. I also agree with you that the kits will never be the same which is a shame. : (

​You should rather not include paints in kits, just modules since some paints are way too expensive so it will make the kit expensive too. That isn't fair for people who were saving up crystals for that kit since the paint is worthless and just adds crystals to the price. Ok some people might want to get a paint as well but that would only be a few since no smart person would waste like 300k crystals on a useless paint. Since there would only be a few its not fair for the people that don't want to spend tons and tons of crystals to get the kit they want. Or you could just add paints that are cheap to kits since something like 3k crystals is not that much and wont affect the price much.

​Yes I agree with you. I am currently saving up for the northerner kit and I started saving up even before the update and I now have about 70k crystals. Why the hell did tanki change its discount to 15%!!?? The winter paint is now like 7k crystals so it's not that expensive and won't really affect the price much. But changing the discount to 15% is utterly BS. The northerner kit used to cost about 167k crystals before the update AND it had protection too. Now it costs 190k WITHOUT protection. This update has really ruined the game for most players. It has ruined all my plans. Tanki, if you don't wake up and smell the roses you will lose tons of players including me. And note that I have been playing since 2013.

There was a distinct lack of more detailed information with this update, so thank you for this. it has answered my questions nicely even if I hadn't thought of them all before xd. I can't say I'm particularly impressed with the update because of the massive rise in prices, and the fact that all the kits are completely messed up. ( I have multiple accounts, on some of which I have been saving crystals for kits). Hopefully this will be sorted out in the fullness of time. It would be nice to see some four paint protection modules as well.
