I have an idea of a topic for dropping a gold box on a specific location on any map.

 

The player can select a location on a map before he drops the gold box, so that it can be easier for him/her or other players to catch it. For example, a player could choose to drop a gold box in a corner of a map or behind a tall building.

 

This drop zone selection is only available for gold boxes that players drop and is activated by placing a gold box drop zone marker on the battlefield. This is not suitable for automatically generated gold boxes.

 

What do you think.

 

I just want to give players more control over gold boxes.

 

Please accept and consider my idea to be implemented into Tanki Online.

The Gold Box update is coming out soon! With it you will be able to drop the Gold Box after purchasing it in the Shop and pressing the 6 key. The idea I have is that when you do press 6, all the drop locations where a gold usually drops will show up and you can pick the drop location you want it to drop at. For example, i'm playing on Noise (my personal favorite map) and i have a gold box that I want to drop, so I press 6 and then it shows all the drop locations and i get to pick it and then it shows Gold box will be dropped soon. If you do not press a location within 30 seconds, it will pick a random location by itself and then it will show Gold Box will be dropped soon.

A much simpler alternative would be to make it so that the gold box drops at the location nearest to you. Developers don't want to make the controls too complicated for anything.

Yes but that was a long time ago when the drop zone mark didn't even existed. Worked like that.

RIDDLER is coming out with better and better ideas. Honestly though, I would love if he was a developer. ;)

 

Especially that one about the game-mode where any player that doesn't achieve first place gets a random M3 turret, hull, module ,or cool paint. :ph34r:  Or maybe the idea where every time a "platinum" legend is destroyed, 50 crystals get added to the battle fund. :D

We still need the random drop for various gold games... The simplest thing to do is normal 6 key press will do exactly what it does now, and long key press (hold for 2-3 seconds?) will drop the gold exactly where you stand.

 

That way people who don't know about this feature will enjoy the normal random drop without any complications, and the trick for choosing drop location is very simple and doesn't involve any additional actions or even buttons to choose drop location.

Hi!

 

I have an idea, what if you have a gold box supply, and you can drop the gold box where you want!

 

So when you press 6, there will be a thing that will pop up, and it will show you all the gold box drop locations on that map you are playing on. When you selected your drop zone, you will have 5 seconds before it says like ..... has dropped the gold box. This will be cool for STG's. And 1 more thing, on the thing that will pop up, it will say "Random". If you don't want to choose any drop zone, just press it and it will drop a gold anywhere.

yes in my opinion it gives a picture of gold box and you move it to a place in a spectator mode but spectator mode will only work for gold box drop zone

No, pressing 6 key would drop a gold box but there is time between gold box drop and 6 key pressed. After pressing 6 key the drop zone would be automatically selected unless you choose it in those 30 sec i guess :\
