Results [Issue 55] Creative Tanki Ideas

This was...not an easy contest to judge. I was both amused and amazed at the variety of completely unique thoughts outlined by the entrants. However, there can only be three winners, so after a good deal of consideration I present you with the craziest, most interesting ideas produced by the Tanki Community.

A Tanki Online Zoo 

 

A place where all the different tank species are held, to be visited, looked at and admired by tankers.

From the Mammuthus Hastili to the Vesparum Isidus. From zebras to jaguars and from turtles to piranhas. Rumor has it that even a ghost appears in one of the cages from time to time. The zoo also has some exclusive mythological creatures like Minotaurs and centaurs. If a player likes one of the species he sees, he can tell the zookeeper which one he wants, and then buy it and take it home.

I have been stuck in this jungle for months now. In these misty conditions my Hunter has begun to rust . . . Yesterday another enemy tank  popped out from these tall thick ferns, without a warning. Luckily my reactions are better than his, because he was just as surprised to find me as I was when he came upon me . . . As I said I would three days ago, I've explored this whole jungle, and I've found that the whole perimeter is enclosed by a tall concrete wall. I tried climbing some of these tall trees to see what is outside the wall, but the branches were far too high, and the bark slippery. I'm considering making a sort of rope out of this lichen that hangs far down from the trees, will note results. The waterhole seems to still be holding clean water, but as it is in the center of this place, I'm taking a big risk when collecting water. Hopefully tomorrow's weather will be on my side . . . .

The Head Bonker

The Head Bonker

 

  All games eventually get old. We need something to really freshen up the game and provide a new experience for all the old and new players. My idea will liven up the game and provide a new gaming experience, not only with respect to Tanki, but new to all games in general. Presenting...      ...the head bonker.
  The head bonker is a device that sits behind your computer screen and enhances the everyday gaming experience beyond what is displayed on screen. This device truly captures the risk/reward scenarios that would be present in a real sporting or battle scenario. With every shot a competitor lands on your tank, the large mechanical arm swings out from behind the monitor and gives the player an engaging whack on the head. Not only does this serve to enhance the effect of taking damage, but dealing damage also becomes more entertaining. The knowledge that with every shot from your Twins, some guy halfway around the world (probably in Russia) is getting beat in the head with a large, foam hammer for every shot you land makes the gaming experience all that more worthwhile. The head bonker is what every modern gamer needs.
