Interesting thoughts

Before you read, I'd like to make it quite plain that I do not intend to make any sense whatsoever – on the contrary, I do not often make much sense, I get that a lot.

In some time of publishing this piece, I may look at it as if a fool was writing, embarrassed at what I had written. But now, I do not care how this looks, to me, or the readers eye. I just wanted to share a very interesting, and most probably useless, thought.

. . .

There are choices people may have to make in life, a choice to take one of the paths, and leave the other ones end as a mystery. At times one may feel like turning around and retreating, running away from the possibility of taking the wrong path, but also keep in mind, taking the right one.

One thing is for sure, you have ran away from a bad path, but not all of them. Don't forget that during around can be just as bad as taking the wrong path. There could be a dragon behind you, and you have no chance of living if turning back. Sadly, sometimes that is the reason one turns back, to end oneself rather than face what is ahead.

But now, doesn't that sound foolish? Let's say the left path is death, the right one is great life, and behind is death. What one should choose is a one out of two chance of living, rather than absolute death.

Of course, at times when facing two paths such as the ones we are discussing right now, one cannot think straight, and may do unwise things, which includes turning back to a chance of one hundred percent death.

Now think, think hard. Turning back can be ever more unwise that we thought until now. Do not see? Allow me to explain: When one sees two paths, why on earth should that mean that one is good, and one is bad? Who said they aren't both good? If so, and the paths are both good, it is extremely unwise to turn back, not when the paths ahead can either mean a one out of two chance of living, or mean one hundred percent life.

Of course, one might argue and say "if there is the chance that both the paths are well, why can't there be a chance that both the paths are bad?" And to that, I have an answer I do not expect many to understand, which is simply that I do not believe that you are stuck in a situation where there is no path to goodness. Life cannot exist without a good and a bad, even if there is no sign of good, it is still there.

. . .

You may say I am mental, writing this weird passage, and all I have to say to that is "Yes, I am indeed mental."

Give that man a Sonning Prize.

Interesting. Reflective life mysteries.  I love those. Drives me nuts :)

What I've figured out so far - there's an untouchable spirit core in every one of us that's our lifesource. It keeps us "afloat", or simply hopeful/positive/confident (if you are not into metaphors). In other words, you are happy just "being". At peace. When you are at peace, you are ready to "just go with it" and live.

But life gets bored of being peaceful and tries to entertain itself by throwing stuff at us that smack you in the face. Mental life.

No, the passage was not bad at all. At least your writing skills are better than mine :) (I simply cannot come up with something to write about, most of the time. When I do finally come up with something, it does not seem interesting enough).

But perhaps behind you is not a dragon, but rather happiness? Perhaps you've set off on a foolhardy journey, and you realize you should return?

At least the Happy Dragons are behind me. (I know, I take EVERYTHING OVER!1!)

anyway, you're not the only mental one ok. I'm literally mental, that's why I spend life no-lifing on Tanki.
