Since your account is not linked to a valid email, contact our Tech support at: help@tankionline.com

 

Also, take a look at this: How to write to help@tankionline.com?

After making sure you're the real owner of the account, your password will be changed and you'll get the new one.

 

Good luck and be patient with Tech support

I have contacted them but I did before I read about how to, should I do it again correctly?

I'm not sure how to prove I am the real owner because it wasn't linked to an email

You don't have to write again, they will ask you few questions and if you answer them correctly, they will give you the account back. :)

what if I don't know the answer to the questions?

I'm sorry, but if you do not know the answers to the questions, we can not help you. Tech support doesn't proceed with such unless they can confirm that the writer is in fact the account owner.

Ok, so its likely that I wont get it back? many of the questions are hard to answer cause I haven't been on the account in many months so I don't remember but I guess I probably should've written the info down, Thanks anyway :)

Tanki help are really good and want to help you - but they need to be sure beyond doubt.

 

I'v found it best to give lots of answers before the questions are asked - then I get to choose the questions.

Yes, obviously they need an email to link it to your account. Did you create one?

If I have forgotten the password to my account and it wasn't registered to an email, is there any way to reset to get back in to my account?

ok there are ways to get help in tech support ..

 

first answer what ever questions you can .. also show proof with photo of your account .. the main thing is your Ip address matches to the account info and any other info you do have on it..also if you buy crystals this will be a huge help on your account cause they can see your account linked to you.. then you should be able to get your account opened to change password if non of them match them this account will be blocked .

p/s tech support is faster now then before ...once you have a return email .. it indicates there working on your case file ..

Yes and you should do it soon

 

make sure its a good one that only you use do not give it to anyone .

 

seeing your account has been worked on tech support will get back to you sooner then later

 

how do i know this cause i have send in many emails to them and once they start on a file they like to get the process sorted so they can move on to the next player... most issues are minor and can be sorted out easy.

That's good. But please be patient with Tech support. It can take up to a several days or more until they answer you. It's up to them now, not the Forum :)

If the email you are contacting Tech support with is not tied to another Tanki account, it should be ok.

 

Just wait - you will receive an email to that email address with a link to change the pass word - if the linked page  asks for an email address use the address you have given to tech support.

 

Each instruction step to regain your account has to be folowed very carefully.

 

Just be paient and remember tech support are the good guys and may be English speaking Russians, so double line spacing etc helps.

You should give them the e-mail address that you want them to link to your account, but right now it doesn't matter whether you want to link the e-mail that you are using to contact them with. Rather, you are free to choose any e-mail to link to your account, but which you can access. This is so that you can contact them with the linked e-mail if your account is hacked or there is some other problem.

If you are able to answer all of the security questions correctly, you will soon get an e-mail giving a new password to your account at the e-mail address which you linked to your account. As it may take Tech Support time to reply back to you, you will need to wait and check your e-mail inbox daily to see whether or not they have already sent you an e-mail. That way, you can get your account back. :)


 

I would like to thank all of the players who helped the player who lost his account password. Since this topic has already been answered thoroughly in the details above, we are now going to close it. If you still can't get your account back, we can't help you, but in this case, you must really answer all of the security questions correctly.
