Improve Shaft shot effect

To my knowledge, Shaft is supposed to be a kind of particle weapon, which explains the charging feature and unusual sound. While I do agree that it doesn't sound as powerful as it should be, I would rather that the sound stay as it currently is to avoid attracting too much attention. And a quiet death isn't necessarily less scary than a loud one.

 

As for the appearance of the shots, I think that the old colors should be restored (red shots at M3, reddish orange at M2, etc.), but I don't support adding a tracer to the shots. That would expose the user's position far too easily, similar to what happens when firing Railgun.

But they kind of ruined it anyways with the addition of the laser scope

Shafts shouldn't be loud. In real life it makes no sense for a sniper to show power and be as loud as possible

 

The whole point of Shaft is Stealth and being silent yet deadly

Suppressors and snipers are 2 different things , but they do co-operate good together . 

 

Shaft should be back like the old days , without this crappy lasy , and the shaking was a benefit to hit tankers who were rly high or lower than you .

Old days-no scope, feel like Godmode on becoz u can kill anyone withing a seconds before he even notices it.

 

Fixing a bug doesn't make equipment overpowered <_<

Shaft definitely needs to be beefed. It's too under powered and isn't really competitive amongst other turrets.

Another thing that can be done to improve shaft in general is to make it's turret rotation somewhat faster both in arcade and sniping mode.

Little change to Shaft

 

When some tankers think about Shaft they think "bad and boring" but isnt, they don't think about his power and accuracy because when it shoot the sound is weak and shot effect is small and not bring fear

 

So i want tell you all another idea

 

Add a better shot effect to Shaft

To bring really fear to tankers

 

I began to be afraid of the Shaft when one day on the battlefield I was following an ally and suddenly heard a loud sound and saw my ally explode and thought it can't be possible because his health was complete

 

Also increase the impact force

 

The Shaft have the damage but no the details, Shaft need show his really power

 

The idea is very VERY simple

In sniping mode shaft's impact is increased to about the same as a railgun of the same modification level. But it would be nice to have an increase in the impact of arcade shots.
