Lag (A few things to note)

First of all, the programmers of tanki will address this issue, because the company will not get any money if players aren't able to play the game. Secondly it would hurt the overall game itself, thus players leaving by large numbers. 

 

As a programmer I can tell just by how people are complaining it has to do with the servers they are using. They need to upgrade thier servers to more effieicent ones, thus lessing the strain, which means less lag. Usually the lag is caused by somethign wiith server, it could be the specs of the server or just its getting old. 

 

Tanki has been around a while and as far as I know they haven't upgraded or migrated any servers to new systems. 

 

It also will depend on what goes on under the hood, which without seeing the code i can't say exactly. 

 

Until those issues are resolved, just stay paitent they will fix it!

I'm more than certain that they would do it if they could, but due to financial, time, workforce and potentially other issues they are unable to do it.

First of all, a programmer makes programs as his main job, and rarely own servers. So a programmer must not be able to tell us the exact reasons of the lag.

 

Secondly, we are CUSTOMERS and not INVENTORS, so we USE their service and not INFLUENCE.

lol progammers do not invent anything, well they create stuff from code- generally from scratch. but its in a language usually only consiting of 10-50 things, like for example when you hit fire it shoots your gun. 

 

LOL im talking about tanki as a whole, when youre a  "Online" (meaning anything to do with something over the internet) programmer you program onto a server- and we connect to that server

 

 

A programmers JOB is to code and then fix issues as well, because, a progammer is a programmer and there really isnt much to say other than that.

Yes I know - hince why all the lagging and such, the code is stressing the servers.

 

And btw most likely tanki has there own servers. So, that is why they havent upgraded but if they used a private hosting company they could insure a little more protection. 

 

and get to some of the newer technology

 

it really isnt about the new tech, its just that if they have used the same servers for 5 years that is stressful

 

a Server is a computer that we connect to and its contents are shown. its really complicated and maybe y'all dont understand but a server is a computer- and computers do get old- and only have a certain amount of life.
