Unlink Facebook account when password is changed

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I faced many players from tanki online getting hacked. I mean someone else knew their password. They told me that they changed their account password and the hacker is still going on their accounts. They started thinking about viruses and other things which isn't the REAL problem!!. The hacker simply linked his Facebook account to the guy's tanki's account. It's really happening everyday. Tanki should solve this huge problem.

My suggestion for this: Whenever a player changed his password, his Facebook account would be automatically unlinked to his account.

It's a really important suggestion and i hope it'll be taken into consideration.

This might be helpful, but I think it's better to instead encourage players to link their account to Facebook in the first place so that hackers don't get a chance to link it to theirs. Otherwise this feature might prove to be more of an inconvenience rather than a solution.

The hacker would just click on "unlink" and then he would link it to his own facebook account. There should be a solution for this.

Another solution: How about making linking/unlinking facebook account to your tankionline account requires confirmation from email? A better one?

This is not a problem of Tanki Online, but the problem is carelessness of players. In theory, everything can be hacked. 100% protection does not exist.

I am sure that technical support already knows how to deal with these matters ;)

Well, there you go. That's a genius idea. IMO we should link everything to email -- making big purchases (kits) et cetera.

Obviously a disable button should be allowed. But, that should take email too.

also, this isn't sarcasm ok
