Hellow,

this idea deals with the problem with OpenParkourBattles (OPB). These are Parkour format battles.

However, lot of staff members confirmed that Parkour format is equal to Party format, as you can do there anything you want, since you won't disturb real gameplay.

Summary: In an OPB there are 2 types of tankers: Who want to do parkour, and who don't.

 

The actual idea is the addition of Party game format.

I don't want to describe it's settings (PRO options) - it's up to the devs.

 

Why?

What makes you mad in an OPB? Some tankers who are actually chilling out using full supplies and Firebird M4. These guys don't want to do parkour, do they? By dividing the non-main-gameplay to parkour and others (Party) we can manage to get parkourists together and allow them to do their want without any disturbance or getting killed over and over by others.

Will it actually work? Are you sure?

As said above, the main problem is the killing in these battles. Why it is allowed then? Because there is no other place to "chill out" and show off XT items and so on. Whenever this small idea is implemented, you can forbid and ban killing in parkour battles. I recommend to add "killing in parkour format battles" to the Sabotage paragraph in the Game Rules.

So, for now on the Battle_Mods group will actually give out 1 hour blocks to these players? No, actually. As I hope, by the implementation itself there will be big changes. Some moderation will be needed for sure.

Seems interesting, although a simple damage on/off option when creating a parkour battle seems like a much simpler option that will do the trick. Also, I don't think killing in parkour battles should ever be officially considered as a punishable violation because the limited number of battle mods have much better causes to dedicate their time to, such as mults and hackers.

Or it should be as an option damage on/off and if damage is off, auto-aim works to everyone. Teamates/enemys and ofc wont deal damage.

Seems interesting, although a simple damage on/off option when creating a parkour battle seems like a much simpler option that will do the trick. Also, I don't think killing in parkour battles should ever be officially considered as a punishable violation because the limited number of battle mods have much better causes to dedicate their time to, such as mults and hackers.

Pshh.... the last like... what 50 ideas about kill on and off ideas for parkour battles have been rejected since that no one really cares when people get killed in parkour battles. But you do make a good point about it not being a punishable violation. 

 

But on and off killing in parkour battles is a fairly decent idea and I'm gonna tweak it a bit. When you join a parkour battle just type in a chat command /nokillparkour and automatically be invincible throughout the parkour battle. If you don't type the command in, you are free to kill whoever also wants to kill others in battles. People who want to parkour and not kill will have their username highlighted in neon blue.

Because parkour format is not just for parkour but for simulated drug wars, catch-the-gold, trolling and so on.

turning the damage off would make parkour way to easy ....

Yes, also why double damage is in parkour  :blink:

tanki should rework something in parkour... Maybd instead of removing double damage, it souldve bigger recoil and punch? Edited by ToiletPaperRoll

That's questionable. Parkour is mostly about timing and setup, not surviving damage.

Dunno if you are a parkourist, but

in parkour videos you often see that the jumper actually uses repair kit to survive the damage. So, surviving damage IS an important part of parkour-plan making.

Um... no. A big part of parkour is trying to survive as several others shoot you onto who knows where. To be able to fire unlimited shots defetes the purpose and one of the main challenges of parkour. Otherwise, why not just get a dozen strikers and launch you off the face of the earth? or a dozen magnums to totally blast you out of the atmosphere. GOod idea, but it wil defeat the perpose. sorry

u can't get kills on parkour mode

 

if u kill someone the system will count it as death.

 

for example a player kills 100 in parkour mode he will get 100 deaths, so when u press Tab u will see that he died 100 times and killed 0

Hello, I have a suggestion concerning the Parkouring in the maps. Number 1, I have joined many Parkouring, "Battles" and tried to parkour, but everyone thinks it is a battle and shoots and kills everyone trying to Parkour.

 

My suggestion is that Tanki either make it so that opponents can't kill each other or everyone one be on one team like Death Match, accept you can't kill each other.

Dunno if you are a parkourist, but

in parkour videos you often see that the jumper actually uses repair kit to survive the damage. So, surviving damage IS an important part of parkour-plan making.

Staying alive is a necessity, yes but it can be easily done - by rapidly repairing. However, you can't simply get your timing and execution right by just activating a drug.

I like the /nokillparkour idea. you guys have no idea what it is like to try and jump up onto a building and then having an enemy go and shoot andkill u and and you know you would have made it had it not been for that enemy that just shot you. So, Good idea!!

Hello Tankers,

I make a topic concerning killing in parkour battles, now this should be something you should get 5 minute bans and if you keep going it extends for 1 hour (BUT NO LONGER THAN ONE HOUR!)

I know that there can be ´Accidental´ kills in battles but for people that just wanna ruin someoneś day, this applies to them.

      There should be an on or off damage button for PARKOUR only.

And also I consider Impact Force, on or off, because some teammates with railgun can really piss you off  when they shoot directly at you, it doesn't even matter if youŕe on the other team you will still get impact force from weapons. (especially railguns, hammers and magnums)

So tanki i ask that you consider this as an option for people that make parkour battles.

If you turn off impact force in parkour, then what is parkour?
