[Declined] Reduce chat availability rank

I have an unofficial clan but cannot recruit for it anymore as chat is off till the 8th rank.  I teach them the basics and encourage them.  Even if those I help learn the game; don't join my clan at least they have a fighting chance against all the higher powered tankers, and don't get frustrated and leave, and tanki keeps its newest members.  

 

The way Tanki has it now, if I were just discovering the game as i did 5 years ago, by accident then I would get very discouraged not receiving some guiding help like i did back then from more experienced players.

How should new players know what is going on and how do the admins plan on keeping the game supplied with fresh players.  In my experience the kids or 90% of them don't read the splash screens know about the vlog or other places such as the forum to find tips about the game and game play.   I have always offered assistance in game to players with real game questions.  I know that insults were rampant but how or why would anyone new want to stay if there is no way for people to answer their questions. 

 

I surely would not have stayed 5 years ago if I weren't able to talk and ask questions of those more experienced players one in particular comes to mind "Zoug"  I don't think the spelling is correct but he helped me with the idea of sniping both verbally and from me watching him in a game or two.

 

I have trained a number of tankers. Some for my unofficial clan, others just so they weren't so depressed after losing a battle or 4 against more experienced players.  I've shown them how to play and rock their tank to make shots they didn't believe they could make.  I explained the usefulness of the camera and the importance of "cat and mouse" or  "hide and seek".  I use rail and need time to reload against all other guns so I have learned these skills out of necessity.  I encourage my team  to win even when things look bleak and even have told the opposite team that they don't have to take the bullying from someone on their team, sometimes that player (the bullied one will change teams) to be on a team with players whom don't criticize them.  A common word in these bullying criticisms is "Noob" or "noob team"  I know this to be in violation of the rules and so point it out to the culprits but depending on the age of said culprit they taunt me or further abuse their / my team.  

 

All and more I have done to promote the game and now cannot promote it in game till after they reach 8th rank.  I think the only players that will stick around till 8th rank to chat are players like me with multiple accounts from different eras of the game development. 

 

 

I understand the admins think that no chat till the 8th rank is the fix but I still think you will lose potential new players.

Yes, the system is a bit inconvenient for honest players like you, but unfortunately it was made like this to prevent players creating new accounts to violate rules, because previously after getting a ban, the player could easily create a new account, play for 10 minutes until the next rank and continue breaking rules. It doesn't take too long to get to the 8th rank, but it does greatly help reduce the number of accounts created specifically for violating rules, so this is not something developers want to revoke. Sorry.

This would include banning IP address. But something like that will never happen, as it has been told many times before.
