Picture in your mind Pac Man and going from one side of the screen out to the opposite side.  Now make it a portal that transports your tank to any of a multitude of locations on the map when you pass through it.  It could be an escape or a sure way to your demise.  Have sniper hide outs on a place above or below said portal exit locations on all but two locations.  They would be one in each team end zone.   If carrying a flag this jump thru the portal might pay off and put you in the end zone or not and put you in harms way as the portal will have to be random or 1 in 7 like the gold boxes are supposed to be.  Maybe 7 locations, one for each end zone and 5 other random places.

 

 

Could make two of the sniper locations portal accessible only, like islands; enough room for one tank kinda like industrial map, or madness map platforms.    The portal would have to be accessible from the middle of the map and slightly hidden from any one teams view, for shaft or rail to line up a shot they would have little shelter on their respective sides. Making it fairer to both teams being able to use the portal to gain access to sniping locations and carrying a flag home.  Portal can send any team to other teams rear sniper position or near it as to effect maximum chaos.  Something which is in every current map chaos I mean.  The need for power ups is less on this map so more about skill than pickups and if admis would consider it suspend personal supplies from being used like a pro battle,relying on skill.  The map would be for experienced players anyway. 

 

In some ways 2015's Christmas map was for experienced players as those not paying attention played it just the way they always play every map and lost a lot of the time.  When playing the Christmas map with skilled players I had a lot of fun and not so much with the multitude that just run for the flag and die repeatedly. Thanks for that map!

 

015's Halloween map was my favorite thus far of any special map.  I did really well against many players even ones that should have had a performance advantage being as much as 3 ranks ahead of mine.  Maybe you will take my idae and turn it into a Holiday map and see if it gets alot of play before turnning it into another map.

Seems fun! I mean, Devs already said that they don't care if the game isn't realistic so they might as well add portals for the heck of it ?
Probably not in TO though. I have no idea how the anti-cheat will tell the difference between a player using in-game teleporters and teleport hacks.

We used to have portals in some uberstrike maps when I used to play it. Portals would be great fun but I suppose you will more likely have a possibility of seeing them in Tanki X. Portals wouldn't be suitable for all maps. As of now in my opinion, its only Madness, future or gubakha that can suit portals. They'll have to design some new maps with portals in order to not mess up the gameplay. Especially CTF. Portals would suit DMs and multi point CPs best. Also remember that twins and Rico shells will be able to teleport too, thunder shots could explode right on the other end of the portal. Firebird, freeze, isida, smoky, shaft and Vulcan shouldn't be able to pass their charges through the portal.

Well, they'd need to add new maps. It would not be cool if they completely changed Poly CP. I think it'll be added to Tanki X if at all. But yeah, a few maps and the rest can remain same.

Because potral will have excact locations, so antichet has to analyse staring and sending place. So cheater can teleport only like normal players

I think portals could be great, but they would need to be opened.

- You would need new maps

- You would pick up (or win?) occasional portal supplies

- To pass through a portal you drop the supply in its zone

- Both tanks and munitions could pass through while open, but they'd only be open (say) 10 seconds

- Whether they'd be fixed transits between pairs, or to random known exits, is open for debate

- Otherwise, it could be they either open anywhere but always transport to the same point (for a team), or open at a fixed point but drop you randomly
