Since the latest update to tanki Im getting lots of problems with the steering freezing.

The game is now unplayable.

 

I know theres a post in complaints but none of those ideas fix the issue.

This has only just started since the update, been playing tanki for the last 2 yrs and haven't had this issue.

Imagine your keyboard keys get stuck, its just like that.

Single press of the keys and the tank continues to rotate/move.

 

I tried playing a game today, fine for 5 minutes then the problem started again.

 

Tried different browsers IE firefox both flash debug and standalone, different keyboards. Deleted cache flash etc. Ping times are the same.

No other online game is giving me problems.

But that is not our problem, really. Something is wrong with your software. Clean cashe, clean flash cashe, reinstall keyboard drivers, reinstall your browser. Finally, try to search something in google or reinstall your windows.

Also you may try to turn on adaptive PFS and to turn off sky in game settings.

Have you tried Chrome?

Sorry done all that.

And random guessing whats wrong, changing to chrome wont make a difference. Unless your saying it doen't work on opera firefox or ie. Which we know is not the case. As for keyboard drivers, its the default no special keyboard. And I've tried two different models. And I've already said all cache has been deleted.

As for reinstalling the operating system LOL

 

This only started happening since the latest update. So its either a massive coincedence

or tanki thats giving me issues.

 

Only posting this to see if other users are having similar issues.

Right just played a 50 flag battle. Start was hell, had to sit there for a while game wouldn't respond. Also the game sometimes thinks flash has lost the focus and pause pops up and quickly disapears.

 

it only freezes when someone joins the battle :?

 

Everytime it froze quick glance and yep someone just joined.

At no other time did it freeze.

If you just cleaned your cache/etc by yourself, try cleaner more thoroughly with CCleaner from here: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard. If the installation asks to to install Ask Toolbar or change your Homepage, uncheck that (I think they no longer do that, thank goodness).

 

Now close all browser, and run CCleaner.

 

Click Cleaner on the left-hand side. Click the Windows tab, check everything under Internet Explorer except Autocomplete Form History and Saved Passwords. Check everything under Windows Explorer. Check everything under System except FTP Accounts, Start Menu Shortcuts and Desktop Shortcuts. Under Advanced, only check Old Prefetch data.

 

Click the Applications tab. For any browsers listed (IE, FF, Opera, etc.) check everything except Saved Form Information, Saved Passwords and Compact Databases. Leave all other areas (Applications, Internet, Multimedia, etc.) as they are (default checks).

 

Click Options on the left-hand side. Click Advanced. Only item checked should be Show prompt to backup registry issues.

 

Click Cleaner on left-hand side. Click Analyze. When it is finished, click RunCleaner, then Yes. When it is finished, exit and retry Tanki.

 

Hope this thorough cleaning does the trick.

I have the same problem!

 

При управлении танком словно "залипают" клавиши поворота корпуса и башни (как курсорные клавиши, так и раскладка AWSD). Танк очень сильно заносит, будто скользит по льду. Играть невозможно.

 

В Танки играю полгода, практически каждый день. Всё описанное началось вечером 26.01, и ни с чем другим, кроме как с анонсированным в новостях релизом новой версии, этого связать не могу.

 

Обновил флэш-плеер. Очистил кэш. Перебрал 4 разных браузера. Испробовал standalone плеер. Менял настройки в самой игре. Подключал другую клавиатуру. По совету NoblePlatOne воспользовался программой СCleaner. Повторил всё это на другой ОС! Не помогло ничего.

 

Уважаемые разработчики и модераторы,

если нет возможности помочь, то хоть примите эту информацию к сведению. Нас уже двое, а вероятно, и больше

Occasionally, my tank and/or turret starts turning in one direction. If I press the key of the opposite movement, the tank freezes, and then starts turning again once I release the button. Then, if I hit the key that signifies the movement that my tank is independently moving by, it returns to normal. Anyone else have this annoying problem?

Turn off all the processes that overload your processor. Switch off skype and other programms.
