This idea is more based on DM tournaments.

My idea is to add 10-20 (Randomized) crystal drop boxes in DM tournaments.

They should be in middle.

Why?

Well if players want more crys, they have to move and fight in middle for those crystals. Middle should be the most active spot for battlefield.

Credit to Diep.io developers for this idea (They have blue things in middle of map and everyone is going for them)

I hope it might get tournaments more popular, might destroy teamers and active owerall.

If crystals drop there, players who havent tryed tournaments, they will try them. That means more players in DM tournaments.

if there is enought crystals in middle, teamers can start to kill each other for crys.

If everyone fights in middle, battle found grows alot faster.

Mults? Well mult can pay for joining tournament and sit all the time in middle of map and get killed instantly. if he sits in edge of map, let him sit there. Crys wont drop there.

If mult wants to get few crys, he has to kill before he gets killed. if he doesnt, its better for others. Why? Free kill!

Crystal boxes will not return. If you think players need to be encouraged to converge in one place, it needs to be done with methods that don't include randomly raining currency from the sky.

It is part of strategy not to stay in open area, hit and run, etc. Some people's tanks are just more suited for this. It is just unfair for some people, and maybe making supplies fall in the middle is a better idea, as crystal boxes will not be brought back.

How about golds fall and 1000 crys from fund gets "eaten"? Chances are 1 in 1000 for special gold, and normal gold 1 in 10000

But it IS about changes to the actual Tanki Online to its previous versions. (Crystal boxes were in the previous version and you want to get them back, even if it's just for tournaments.)

Nah. People will start raging if they die when they are about to take a crystal box like the normal gold box hunter. Plus, you might have an opposite effect where people agree "no kill" when the box drops.

You need to kill for boxes to drop.

 

Main reason why crystal boxes were removed was mults. In DM tournaments if crystals fall in middle, mults wont be able to get them so easy.

I disagree. They aren't greedy, in-game money means nothing to the devs, they could give thousands of crystals if they wanted. I think it was because of gameplay, I remember people pushing me for 10 boxes back then..

Understand that, if people get few kills, but mostly go for crystal boxes, it wont be good too.

Crystals drop in battles, players dont need to buy crystals.

If they remove crystal boxes, players with low skill level cant get crystals. So thy have to buy!
