Hi all, sorry to keep you waiting. As you've realized, DM tournaments are currently offline. It seems that in their present version, they weren't too popular, which resulted in most tournaments being empty (and as a result, really boring).

 

So, we're working on spicing up the system, and also on applying the core matchmaking mechanic to other battle types.

 

Don't worry, I'll keep you informed.

Would rather you apply the matchmaking mechanic to the clan system asap :P Tho I think DM tourneys will get less popular if more battle types are added, simply due to the fact DM is the least popular battle type :/

Actually DM isn't all that popular. And yes, we plan on adding the mechanism to Clan systems.

I think most of them are empty because they are on unpopular maps. The popular maps get 80+ people, at least at my rank.

can you give us anything on the time that it takes to bring back dm tournement or something else like that like you said?

 

i though dm tournement would just be off for like 2 days now it comes close to a month

 

and i have a noob rating because i had to leave 2 battles for eating just before it went down

Hey i know dm tournaments are boring but i wanna give some suggestions .

1.double battle funds.

2.gold box shall drop twice as often.

3.There shall be limited ranks so it will be fair.

4.Day and night themes + winter and summer.

5.New special maps for dm tournaments.

6.special turrets,hulls,paints,protection modules and supplies to make it more better.

7.That's it guys, it's all i would like to suggest, maybe you'll do something i suggested.

Wut?

 

Don't think that's the way to go, it's just for short term interest, later on it will become boring again...

 

Perhaps slight increase in gold box might do the trick... If they included a similar thing to Clan battles and tandem battles, DM tourneys will get unpopular pretty fast in my opinion.

I enjoyed the DM battles... As a lot of others did too... And the ones I took part in were pretty full... Can't understand how they weren't popular. This was one of the best things that have happened since joining Tanki and now it's gone. They should have just left the DM tourneys running. It's the quickest way to make crystals...
