Don't take the ones on the Internet as reliable, k. Also, read about High IQ societies. Mensa would be the most well known which is open to with an IQ of more than approximately 135(On a standard 160 scale test). Higher score iq tests aren't reliable and not used for anything other than general purposes.

Secondly, I don't believe measuring IQ serves much purpose. A high IQ won't make you rich or more likable or anything like that. All meaningful things in life come from hardwork and attitude. A high IQ is like being born with a pack of abs. If you don't work out, you'll lose them and it also doesn't mean that no one else can get them. I'm sure I can calculate the volume of a 4D sphere (technically, the 4th dimension equivalent of volume) faster than Donald Trump and yet I'm here and he's there.

That being said, the last time I attempted it, I scored around 140 (in the 160 scale test) and was invited to mensa but that's another story.

well. if you score 160 IQ, you are smart. if you score 0-10 IQ, talking to you... its waste of time.

^Exactly the same here, scored roughly 140 on the 160-scale test so I'm now a Mensa member... not that it actually means too much. I mean, it's great to score highly on IQ tests, but there are many other factors which really influence who you are as a person (e.g. your character, emotional intelligence). Anyway, it's less what you have and more how you use what you have that counts!

(tl;dr: there's no need to lie about having a super-high IQ, as I suspect the OP and other posters here have done - there are more important things in life than one's real/pretended IQ)

you said a mouth full .. and yes i fully agree not everyone will score high ..its also factor if you keep your education up or what you do for a living .. i would score high in life skills and other things where as others would get lower scores .. everyone is unique and individuals .. no one should be comparing to others.. like i also said above there are ways to cheat in the test.. it is better to be tested by  a professorial

IQ tests aren't even really a proper measure of intelligence, especially seeing as there are many many factors in intelligence and also it's a slippery word to define properly. It's difficult to sum up such a vague and complex term with just one number.

It's also true that intelligence itself isn't the only factor in success and positively affecting others.
