Rio Olympics August 05th - 21st 2016

I'm posting this in the Ideas and Suggestions section.
 

As was done for the Olympics 4 years ago, in the Tanki London Map, in honor of the start of the Summer Olympics in Rio (August 05th - August 21st) how about something special in the Rio map.

 

(Wait there was no London map, but there was something Olympic related and there is a Rio map in the game already.)

 

Since Russia (Finally) also made it via nine months of doping scandals, revelations, threats and bans, how about something special with drugs?

Also, like I said in your other topic - it's pointless to suggest anything for this year's Olympic Games events because if developers plan on doing anything, they already decided what to do and it's very unlikely that they will change or add anything players suggest.

Something special with drugs? Perhaps Double drug bonus when capturing all 3 types of drug boxes.

 

25% - 75% off upgrade valid for anywhere between 6 to 24 hours.

 

Sudden Death Gold Box

 

If a Gold Box is dropping during the last moments of CP, CTF, DM, or TDM the game ends immediately after the GB is caught and not before the GoldBox is caught, due to time expiring or CP score being reached or the Final Flag being capped.

Hello, my last suggestion for 2015, I'd like to see 3 different game modes:

Game mode 1 is for those that have bought crystals within the past 90 days, (Game has drop boxes and no ads).

Game Mode 2 is for those that have not bought crystals within the past 90 days (Game has no drop boxes (including no gold drop boxes), but you must watch a 30 second Ad to play and there is another 30 second Ad to view between games).

Game mode 3 (which we currently play) is for those that don't care if crystals have been bought or not, (with drop boxes and without ads).

Hello,

On the next Special Gold Box Day event, I'd like to see a (1% Gold Box),

The 1% being calculated based on the amount of crystals the person who catches the gold box currently has.

For example: a person who has 100,000 crystal catches a special 1% gold box will get 1,000.

 

Perhaps set a cap at 10,000 crystals  if a person has 1,000,000 crystals or more.

Hello,

 

Instead of having to jump for server to server to look for a specific game, I’d like to be able to enter the criteria game I want to play.

 

For example, if I wanted to play: CTF, Madness, Rank: Up to Major, I could enter that in and then select the games that meet that criteria on all the different servers.

Just a thought, how about different damage areas on a tank.

For example, a tank's rear or bottom in reality is the weakest point of a tank. While the front and sides are the strongest part of the tank.

 

What I mean to say that currently if you hit an opposing tank no matter where it does the same amount of damage. How about creating it so that different amounts of damage happen when you hit different areas? I'm just asking for more damage to occur to a tank when you attack an opposing player from the bottom or from the rear.

I'd like for there to be a way to cancel the self destruct. For example, press the delete key a 2nd time to cancel the self destruct.

Most of these ideas either won't be added or are already planned (or at least considered), so not much I can do here. Will report first idea to developers, but again - too late to implement it in this year's Olympic events.

That was just a discount. What you suggest is a whole new feature that requires development and testing. I ignored your idea for upgrade discounts because, like I said, we do not accept ideas for discounts.

Actually, I'm just suggesting something for the Olympics which are held once every 4 years. Not necessarily a discount. Just well, the olympics and since the Olympics is in Rio and there is a Rio Map, perhaps something in Rio.

Well lets say..

Dropped drugs fall randomly on map without drop zones 100% more often and 40% of those drugs isnt real drugs, some of them has only 50% of standart effect (DA protects 50%, DD deals +50% damage, nitros speeds up +10% RK heals 200 HP)

And ofc 1:20 drugs who makes drugs stronger (Nos 30% speed but not for wasp m4, DD 150% DA 150% RK heals 600 HP)

 

Also default drugs should be random.

they should be from 50%-150% in RANDOM. That means there is 1:100 to get 50% drug, 1:100 to get 51% drug and so on. 

 

All 4 drugs activated may SD you. (RK DA DD NOS) 25% chance.

How about during the olympics when a "Gold Box" is dropped, when caught turn "God Mode" on for 60 Seconds for the person that caught it.

 

It's been implemented before (Last used in April 2016) and seems fitting.

OK, I really don't see the point of all this ranting. Yes, I agree that the Olympics should be celebrated in Tanki because they are a worldwide event. They WERE celebrated last time 4 years ago, so there is no reason to assume that there will be no celebration this year. My point is that if you wanted to suggest something for this years' Olympics, you should have done it a lot earlier, not a couple weeks before the actual event.

 

As for the holidays, Tanki does celebrate a lot of holidays which are mainly relevant to only Russia and ex-USSR countries, but that's because way over 50% of the players are Russian, so it makes total sense. They still celebrate international things like Halloween (something Russians don't even care about) and 25th December Christmas (also ignored in Russia),
