[Declined] Option to set your time zone in Forum

Recommended Posts

Currently in the Forum, all times are stated in UTC. It would be very convenient for players if there was an option to set your own time zone and daylight savings time information via the settings. This would make it easier to understand times.

I honestly think that having a time-zone feature would be really helpful for knowing the time-zones of the other players who are posting or quoting posts. But as far as I know, the engine, that is, the basic software or "machinery" running this forum, cannot support such a feature. It is simply not feasible to contract software engineers to edit the forum engine just to add a time-zone feature.

Oh I see. A few other forums such as XDA Developers have this feature, so I opened this thread. But if it is not possible, sorry.

It's actually pretty confusing. I see the 'Posted at' time in UTC 00 but I see all the quotes in my time, that is, UTC +5:30.

Tanki should update the software's its using on its websites. The Help Site in on a modern software engine, why not upgrade the Forum?
