Tankis own In-game video recording

Recommended Posts

It is not possible for every single tanker to record a battle...

Instead, why don't tanki build a recorder inside tanki itself? It starts recording everytime we go to a battle and stores it in a inbox-like icon....

After 10 battles recording, the first 1 is deleted and the 11th one will be added.... so,therefore, it can have a space of 10 battles which is a great thing.... Tankers can download or copy it to their system.

The link will be in a form of link....h can upload that link to youtube by downloading it,etc. also he/she can copy and paste it in the forum to show the epic videos!

tanki videos with this auto record option!

Hope you liked it!

Thank you!

Declined.

It's not hard to download a free recording software and record Tanki. Developers aren't going to invest time and money creating such a feature as well as to provide storage space for all the videos when there's already hundreds of existing solutions for that.  In fact, allowing all players to record videos using the server's power might not even be possible, so this idea has pretty much no chance.

My version of this:

Tanki should make instant replay mode. This will eat your cache memory, and you can record up to 100 seconds, handy for gold box recording. When you start new recording, the oldest 1 second is ovrrwrited always by new one.

Exactly.

I think it's a great idea, especially one can use it to record sabotage. But since Tanki is too "poor" to afford another storage server and ask players to do the "recording work" for them, that is not "economically" feasible. Good luck with the idea.

I am sorry if I sounded a bit harsh, but this is the truth.

I have tested many recorders

like

  • Bandicam (lags)
  • fraps (Not Recording the gameplay at all! )
  • Action! (not opening at all)
  • Free Video Game Recorder (Not recording anything)

Would you suggest or just ask the others?

you can try Camtasia Studio 8: that can help

For me, somehow I almost never lag. If you do lag, it's because you have other tabs on, and/or you had other programs on (like Skype). If you have a very bad PC then I would recommend to get another one because you'll lag for sure.

I've tested the first three, they all work. As a matter of fact, Fraps is my main recorder at the moment.

Bandicam - no (watermark)

Fraps - Unable to record using the hotkey

Action - problem with it (not opening)

We have seen Tanki Make its own Client,

Why not have tanki create its own recording app. Something players can download so they can smoothly recorder their gameplay? Because most PC recorder work terribly with Tanki, including my own.

Thank you for your idea. This was proposed & declined already a lot of times.

(feel free to use advanced search right next to the search box on the top right of the page :))

There are many good recording software solutions out there already.. so it's kind of pointless to develop and own solution for Tanki online - and then maintain it through the years. This will just tie up development resources, that could be spent better on true game features.

Bandicam is great for beginning YouTubers. If you want to get rid of the watermark, then you have to pay. The paid Bandicam is amazing in my opinion. There are many recording softwares out there, you just need to look harder.

If you're using a Mac, I recommend iMovie and QuickTime Recorder, that got me to 2,000 subscribers... amazing combination they are together.
