Simply a mistake. I get a flag every time a gold drops. Goofy people running like chickens and I just go get their flag and cap.

Also, it is not that common to leave a gold box, and have that result in a takeover. The battle must also have quite a large battle fund.

This GB Update ruined everything in the game in my opinion. 

Kids spams in chats you cant even chat with friends. Now you can get famous by having 1 GB Supply. And I hate it when this noobs feel famous just because some sheeps spam him with "+" and what they actually want, is his GB. GB Was something special. Now its just nothing. I remember old days when I heard gold sirens I almost got heart attack and too much intense and anxious. Now I hear Sirens and nothing happens I don't even care about the, because its not something special anymore. Any1 can drop it at any time. Just like XT's! remember When people had XT rom mission we were like everyone " wow Xt nice " After XT's were able to be purchased in shops, none cared about them again. As you can see no one talks about xts anymore. I don't know where this will lead.

Forgot to mention that Gold Box montages where something like special videosand most famous one. Because it contains a lot of work and edit and patience plus you need to catch golds. which its not easy. Because golds doesn't drop often. And needs time to collect golds. Now I think these videos are ruined also. You can just create staged battles invite your fans telling them that they will be in your GB montage and dont take gold when I drop it ( Disabled "Show who has dropped the gold box" ) So GB Montage are easy to make. So this doesn't make these videos special.

( In my opinion. some people might have a different view. )

I don't totally agree about the GB opinion though I do understand your point, I do however agree on your XT point, they just aren't unique anymore.

I like that GBs can be used in a positive way to show appreciation. I even think player induced GB diversions are pardonable (to an extent) even though I do not consider it a respectable game strategy.

 

What disturbs me though is the potential for misuse. I don't like that people can now "buy" players by selling GBs.

It was just  a regular notification, but the game had just started so it obviously wasn't a naturally generated one. Then after I took it because it was Monte Carlo and of course I was using Titan-Railgun on the bridge, one premium user was banned for flooding. So I just assumed it was him. It could have just been a guy butthurt over not getting it, but I like to imagine he dropped it.

This update and paint seperation update have one common point in my opinion.

 

 

I guess they are both for creating new ways of pursharing crystals without breaking the balance of the game.

 

Players are commonly complaining about that buyers right? And common arguments about this topic are going around on the forum without changing anything?

 

These type of updates are for breaking this apart and repairing the current gameplay from some points. It provides two things at the same time:

 

1. Making buyers buy things

2. Doing that without affecting game balance to worse

 

So, at that case; even though I hated the update from some points too; I support the update due that update exactly adds the game what what it needs.

I remember when I almost had 3000 subscribers 9 months ago, with hard work, I got 900 views per video and it took me song long to get that amount. I was one of the small numbers in Tanki with almost 3000 subscribers. Now some rich guys just says in chat 20 subs is Gold Box Rain.. I'll quit soon DOT.
