I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "analysis". Can you explain please?

Analysis is the live monitoring of the game's chat and the ./vote reports etc. He says that the the russian community has much more effective moderation team. (e.g. twice more chat mods, more game mods and shorter reaction time)

twice more chat mods

They have twice more chat mods because they have 2 to 3 times bigger community then ours. Just compare the number of RU and EN servers...

Actually, we're working pretty hard on doing just that. Also, I think your judgement is a little too harsh. The game has problems, yes I admit, but it's not the hopeless mess you seem to imply it is.

It's not a hopeless mess from a developers standpoint of a freemium clone model.

The game lacked a proper monetization model from the get go.

They are striving to build a model comparable to the AAA F2P titles, what they don't seem to understand, those platforms have millions of DAU (daily active users).

This game has no advancement for non buyers past mid ranks, which is a huge problem, this game needs those players to be successful, whales will always be there, "If" there are enough players to make the game enjoyable.

The game cannot be played effectively through grinding for funds unless you spend 10-12 hrs/day or more, 7 days a week, which gives this game a very bad reputation in the gaming community as a game that supports severe gaming addiction as part of the game mechanic.

The Forum is not equiped to scale up to meet demand of more DAUs.

The volunteer moderators (who do a great job by the way) of the game are swamped while only skimming only about <1% of active games.

All games have problems managing large numbers of users, but successful ones have a good end game experience, and their veterans become their greatest assets, especially the non-buyers.

Fair comment, but it needs some perspective.

This game started out with two guys and an idea, but no experience of how to scale upwards. And that's exactly what happened. The game grew exponentially very quickly, and the systems they had in place weren't equipped to scale up to that size.

Now the company is in a position where it's working with systems that were created for a project that had much smaller demands, while trying to invest time, money and energy into keeping the project afloat, while also creating new systems to cater for it. As you can imagine, it's a tough job juggling all of those priorities (all of which are top priorities).

This isn't a new phenomenon either. Any business that starts out small and grows quickly, faces these problems. If an experienced entrepreneur opens a new business, he/she will have the know-how and experience to foresee potential pitfalls. But if it's someone new with little experience, then they have to grow with the business and the problems it invariably brings.

It's like when a child is growing up and his parents need to buy him new shoes every 2 months.

Hopefully this bit of perspective will help everyone understand why the game is undergoing the changes it currently is. I also hope you will all appreciate how many changes have happened in the past few months, in an attempt to bring the game back up to speed. And bear in mind there's a lot more in the pipeline.

Ahhh, the "pipeline problem", to gain perspective, you have to realize that the pineline was leaky, constantly needing bug fixes and optimization, which led to an insufficient pipeline where players could navigate around payment walls, causing the current situation, where the developers have created a glass pipeline, so fragile that they don't dare allow players to save any game currency beyond the basic consumable needs, in fear that it will shatter into a million pieces.

It is obvious that they finally have someone with some experience that actually understands what a pipeline is. It's been a long time coming. The "child" has now moved out and is attending university.

The game metrics need to be addressed if the game is ever to be great again, the runaway train must be stopped, but enough with the metaphors, we need to have some semblance of control over aquiring game currency and not counting entirely on chance and good fortune to build a suitable account. No amount of contests, tournaments, and time sensitive sales will fix the issues and return a level of trust that is desperately needed in order for the future of this game, and future endeavors by the platform to be successful.

All servers can be accessed with any of the supported language when followed by the corresponding designation RU,EN, etc. What he is talking about is that there are many more Russian speaking mods who help keep russian players games fair when they are sabotaged by Georgian, Ksa, and other international players. Twice as many mods to police half as many saboteurs, vs international players who only have 1/2 as many mods to police twice as many Russian, Georgian, and Ksa saboteurs.

Rarely do players of the same ethnic comunity sabotage their own.

There is no such thing as RU or EN servers, those desegregations are nothing but a pathetic attempt to segregate players of different regions and rank from interacting with eachother, in a failed attempt at appeasing the russian community who felt game play was being ruined by having to play with players in battle who cannot speak russian. Everyone accesses the same hot servers reguardless of languages in battle chat. RU1 is the xp, xp/bp servers, RU2 is the no supply server and back-up when RU1 crashes, RU3 & 4 are the Drug war servers, and most others are noob servers where RU 3 players go and Wr3k the noobs and non-druggers. The nationality of the users in the Community and of those playing inside battles is irrelevant for Battle Mods — decisions are not taken upon nations' ideals, decisions are taken based on specific rules and guidelines, equal for everyone. When a battle is voted, a Battle Mode will join it, but the Mod may not speak your own Language fluently and that is why we need more Battle Mods: the issue is that finding valuable candidates is really difficult since only few players have the required qualifications to become candidates and becoming a Battle Mod requires high qualifications.

Wow... Nice to see so much work is actually done, contrary to what most people think about battle mods... :D

That's one of the reasons why we're publishing these videos. It's easy to forget just how much work these people do. @Yele spends HOURS staring at her monitor reviewing tons of footage sent in by players. Believe me, it's an incredibly tiring job.

So many naughty players in August  3 461 power levelers only in August.

No mercy no regret:

Would it be an idea to make a comparison from the current month with the old month in the same video? That way we have some reference

Yes, like column chart at the end of the video. Video length may remain 01:10 - 01:30. Video segment with column chart can last 5 seconds. Who wants to take a better look at column chart, can pause the video. Edited by Phoenix.Raised

As you can see, we indeed monitor many battles, but punish users only when they are really found to be violators of the Game's Rules.
This Game is played by users of all ages and with different aims: there are users seeking for glory, trying to become Champions and PROs, but we also have users that just want to enjoy their time with friends inside battles. We have really PRO users and noobs, we have greatly equipped and experienced users and users that have difficulties in finding their preferred combination to play with.

The main thing that you all must understand and remember is that we are all different, with our own playing styles and aims, but we must be friendly to everyone, involve our team-mates and enjoy each battle since  it a lot more funny to play together, have fun and make jokes, smile and shake our hands at the end of a fight, as well as gaining more friends!
