Deadwords:

A Relic of the Past

Deadwords probably isn't a name that rings a bell, but that doesn't mean I haven't had a pretty interesting Tanki Online career. It all begins back in the fall of 2014, when I made my first account, @DevereEdwards. A few months later, the Tanki fad at my school ended, and my interest in the game with it. I only had only made it to the rank of  Master Sergeant. Later, I came back to the account and gave it  the rank you see today. I was just a normal noob kid, never getting a single M1, and nothing of note happened at this point in my career.

I didn't play Tanki at all for around a year. Then, in December 2015, I went back to the game out of curiosity, making a new account, @DevereEdwards1. I shot through the low ranks, reaching Warrant Officer 1 the next month. Deciding it was time to give eSports a try, I joined the clan Fire Warriors, led by @Frozen4X. Not being the greatest clan in the world, my time there was uneventful, but I did meet @Fillet-wolf. Although we now both have different names, we are still friends to this day. (Note: Unfriended August 13) He currently goes by . I also recruited my friends into the clan, like @WarMachine_12. Like fillet-wolf, he still plays to this day, under a different name, and we didn't lose touch after Fire Warriors. However, I can no longer call him a friend. We'll talk more about those two another day.

One very important event in my Tanki career did occur at this point. Without it happening, I wouldn't even be playing anymore. It was February of this year, and my interest in TO was waning. I stopped checking the forum, and I stopped playing. On February 25th, school was canceled due to excessive snow. For whatever reason, I decided to check the Tanki Forum that day, for the first time in a week. Fire Warriors was holding the INTER-TANK-TOURNAMENT 2016 to determine who would be promoted to "War Marshal" of the clan, and it was happening in only a couple of hours. "If you win the tournament, you're coming back to Tanki. If you lose the tournament, you're leaving Tanki forever." Those were my words that day.

I equipped Mammoth M1 and Shaft M1, as the tournament was held in Monte Carlo DM, and proceeded to wreck the other participants. I won the tournament by the skin of my teeth: the kills were tied, but I had one less death. My interest for Tanki Online was reinvigorated. As the leader began to trust me, my role as "War Marshal" essentially became Co-Leader. On March 26th, I was even allowed to host the next tournament: the Team Selection Tournament. However, on April 4th I departed, leaving for Tanki Masters. Fire Warriors wasn't going anywhere with such an inactive leader, and Tanki Masters seemed to have a lot of potential, even though my first impression was FW wrecking them in an unofficial 3v3 clan war.

Tanki Masters was an extremely large chapter of my career, so I will save that for the next part. Thanks for reading.

maybe met was a bit of an overstatement, I semi stalked one of your conversations because your name caught my eye. I thought I talked to you, but it may have been someone else.

Is there something wrong with the article? I appreciate constructive criticism.

Just that some things are better left out, and I'm talking about next chapter. For.. for the greater good XD

ToG already closed. It's my article, my freedom of speech. I'll say what I want to say. And if you can't respect that, get out.

Obviously you don't respect it if you tell me what to call someone. If he has such a problem with it, he'll come here himself. And I'll continue to call him whatever I want to, even if he does show up.

hm... i dont think FW defeated TM... even if so... back then we were so new (and nooby) and blaster doing a CW that early...

.-. i guess #@BLASTER872IsOrWasNugtageOver9000

Just saying one of our members (won't name names) proved to be a real asset soon.

Empires, Deadwords has a point, you should leave his "article" while you still can.

Deadwords, a good place to flame is the PMs, not your own article.

Have peace, and if not, at least take it to PM
