I do feel a bit bad about starting from scratch again but when you think about it, it makes sense...

1. Rank system is totally different so you can't just transfer exp's.

2. The Upgrade level and Mastery system which doesn't exist here.

3. The different economics.

4. TO will still be here.

 

This situation is just like Hunger Games and Divergent (No. I don't see any difference, pls) except that both are owned by the same company. :p If Alternativa released a new car racing game, we wouldn't ask for our TO accounts to be transferred to that, would we? The difference isn't that much between TO and TX, but you get my point. Those of you who are participating in CBT must already know how different it is from TO in almost all respects.

So, in conclusion, account transfer is neither logical nor unfai(OK... Maybe slightly unfair... Like we should at least get some goodies, right?).

By 'clan system' do you mean that there can be something similar to DM tournaments (as in, clans can apply to join one and in a few mins they will be matched with other clans)? Or do you mean something completely different? I know there is nothing which is 100% certain but if we can get the rough idea of what a 'clan system' is it will help :P

As it is being envisioned right now (but mught be subject to change) the Clan system is a system whereby you'll be able to register a clan officially. Then, using the matchmaking mechanism (similar to DM tournaments) you'll be able to join tournaments with your clan, using ONLY members of your clan, and fighting against other official clans.

 

But I repeat, things are all subject to change.

Mr.Debono you seem like a very nice guy and great CM but tanki hasn't been treating me fair at all i have an account that they won't return for me i explained my problem to them and they still keep saying they can't and i have spend lots of money on this game i would appreciate if you could make some time for me and try to help me out or give me some advice. Not really. As I said very clearly, we'll keep supporting Tanki Online, and you can keep playing it with your buffed account. You're free to stay away from Tanki X.

It's quite absurd to think that probability of winning QOTW depends upon your rank. Seriously, you could be a recruit and win it if you give the right answer. It just happens that most experienced players who are able to guess the answers correctly are usually G'issimo.

You'd have thought they'd offer some incentive to people that have supported the game that enabled TankiX to even exist. Maybe a crystal reward or a choice of M1 equipment as a transfer bonus, as a reward to loyal players and to get them to have a look at the new game. It all looks a bit tight-fisted to me.

not sure if it  will be happening from tanki .. if our accounts are not transferable then who knows .. the  way i see it .. i don't think tanki will do it due to the game will be still running and if account info wont be transferred then ??

 

i was reading on the tankX site and if you read it you will find mods along with players all were hoping to have accounts being transferred.. now that its not i can see a lot of jobs opening up in tanki for mods or even admins... lets wait and see..

I thought the most burning question about TO was when it was gonna be launched ?!?!?!

And new turrets? not very excited, the game as enough turrets already...I think developers should be focusing on more importnat things such as that old promised update of saving player's progress when leaving a battle

This has been one of the most interesting V-LOGs so far. The event in Armenia and Georgia looked awesome and I'm really looking forward to the new updates.

 

I'm not planning to write a text wall about the (for most players) disappointing answer 'no' to the question that has finally been answered. Whether I do write such a huge text or not, it won't change anything as it's a made decision that won't be inverted. All I won't to say is that I'm afraid that the Flash version will slowly die as it's already losing players if you look at the number of players online at the same time and a new game won't do any good to it. I'm afraid my achievements, all my efforts on this account, all my hard work and the money I have spent to the Flash version will be lost. 

 

I hope players won't rage out of disappointment, frustration and anger. I hope Tanki X becomes a success, but I'll stay loyal to the good old Flash version. All I hope is that you guys will not only promote the new game, but advertising the Flash version will be necessary to keep it alive and to not take away all faithful players' efforts. Please, don't ever forget about Flash. 

 

The client is a great idea in my opinion. Browsers don't work well for me. As for the new turrets. I don't know if the current triple modules are good enough to use if we're having 2 extra turrets. You can only choose a combination of protection from 3 turrets at max and with 2 extra turrets, we'll be having 13 turrets in total, meaning 10 possible turrets from which you can't protect yourself. The special modules, such as Helper, will be having a bigger advantage. 

I edited my post a bit late hence I'm quoting it so Cedric can read my thoughts. I saw in one of your posts (Cedric) on a comment made by AbsoluteZero, that we shouldn't worry about Flash, that you'll take care of it too. Does this mean that you'll increase the advertising work again? 

 

The explanation given to why all players will have to start from zero on Tanki X is acceptable to me. If both games will be slowly getting more and more different from each other, players can decide which one they like more. At the end, if you increase the advertisements of TO and if both games will be getting more and more different, both games can have a decent amount of players and can exist side by side.

He probably did, after all it's common sense to offer loyal customers a reward for switching over to a new product, as it makes them feel appreciated....not doing so has the opposite effect.
