it only worked if players buy into it.. most players are saving there money now ..seeing the uncertainty of tanki... there either changing over or leaving now...

They are doing the right thing by not spending money at all in this game now... You never know when the next server restart may read a message "we are sorry game has been shut off, sorry for inconvenience caused"

ok so this will be hopefully my last post in this section .. unless i get pulled back in ( hope not )

 

so Mr. Debono

 

for the future of this game we all know its on shaky grounds due to even you are not sure where it will be ... we  are all fully   aware if tanki do's not continue to be profitable then it will end and you will only have tanki x if that stays going.. as a buyer and a player i will still be here until i choose .. for my hard earn cash i did stop putting money into this game cause i did have a weird feeling about what the future holds for it.. i hate to say this but i can see your only hired to close this section of the game down.( my personal feelings ) for the rest of the team well they did keep us entertained in the v-logs for me well i will be around but more in off topics.. like i said in another post and in a pm to you why iam leaving this section and its all for good reasons.. and personal ones...will we cross path's not sure what my future holds in this game...

How will the update, that shows how much damage a shot has dealt to an enemy, work with Isida, Freeze, Vulcan and Firebird? I'm including Vulcan to this list as I'm afraid it'd be quite messy if it shows every singly bullet of Vulcan. Also, up to what distance will the dealt damage be visible?

It is very sad for me that there will be not any form of progress transfer to Tanki X... Flash Tanki will die very quickly after X release due to shrinking player base caused by migration and lack of future... And it is already hard to find decent battles for seasoned players. Probably a small incoming flow of newbies will remain, but high rank battles will be gone. So, as you will keep a couple of old servers running, we must choose between slacking in an empty server or play starting from zero in X.

 

I understand the economic inconvenience of given a new product for free to old customers, and that creating thousands of high accounts from scratch will clearly lower the value of those accounts.

 

Just it is very, very disappointing the feeling of being forced to start absolutely from scratch.

What about normal battles... And if you're not in a clan? Then what happens? You get subjected to rigged battles?!

 

I guess we will be seeing mults,saboteurs, the die hard way!

 

The news that I cannot transfer to Tanki X is disappointing... :unsure:

 

If Tanki Online dies, then whoever dumps $$$ into this game is worthless. :ph34r:

I wish Sami was still active, we would see some next level gotcha moments, he talked about there being no transfers long ago.

But he deleted his channel and left so now i can't even pull out a witty reference video. :(

So, we will be able to see how much damage we do to other players. Hmmm. Soon, will we be able to see how much HP they have left? Because now we can see MU's and protections. It's weird.

 

Btw, new weapons, good. But, I can't help to think that there will be new weapons because nobody buys Modules.

Btw after they say the rocket weapon what's tie OTHER weapon NAME????? What's the name of the other weapon????

Well, since there are 11 turrets, not even 4-slot protection modules will be enough. Maybe we should create 11-slot modules? And maybe make them upgradable to 99% resistance to all, just so that your backside is covered in all situations? Or how about we reduce the number of turrets to 3, so that trio protections are adequate? Or maybe we could make a mechanism whereby you will only face players with turrets against which you have protections.

 

Seriously though, why is this argument even happening?

This is how it goes;

 

players save hard or spend cash to get that trio module maxed out only for another 2 turrets to be introduced. A couple of months later, quad modules will have to be released due to the complaints which will then make your trio redundant. Players who then spent all those crystals upgrading will then have out-dated modules and will then need to buy new quads to stay competitive.

I wasn't making any argument - that was you. I was simply giving a prediction.

Thank you for your question. I will answer.

 

The game can't sustain 13 turrets. It can barely sustain 11!

There are currently a potential 165 different combinations for a trio module for 11 turrets.

Increasing from 11 to 13 gives 286.

 

This means there is no cost-effective way to suitably protect yourself using trio modules alone unless your name is Bill Gates.

Players would inevitably complain and you don't want to backtrack on the introduction of turrets so you introduce quads to silence the critics which would only compound the mistake.

 

13 turrets and quad modules give 715 possible resistance combinations which just makes the garage one heck of a mess.

 

The fastest way to zap buying confidence is to get us to spend on items which become all but useless later on. No buying means no revenue. We'll end up in a feedback loop that sees numbers in the game continually falling until only the die-hard players are left, who, will chase off any new players trying to join.  AP then pulls the plug.

 

Do yourselves and us a favour and get your client version working before adding any new equipment to the game, then focus on allowing us to customise what we already have like...

  • The ability to add a resistance to a single module to make it a double
  • or making a trio to a quad
  • allowing us to make our own combination
  • allowing us to upgrade existing legacy modules further (would get me spending again)

Now you can see my reasoning and your sarcastic response is again noted.
