Well, you spent it. Your garage items are staying in Tanki Online, they are not going anywhere.

tell me,and use logic (IK it's hard,since we both (I pressume by your nick,apologies if I'm wrong) come from same region of Europe),what do you think,who the heck will stay here?..I estimate that less then 1% of total gismo players have decent garage (2-3 m4 combos+at least 70% of top modules and m3's)..which means that rest,or at least big majority of "rest" of the gismos will move to TankiX because they will be more competitive there..and I don't need to tell you what will happen with rest of the players bellow gismo..

 

so,is there a point of having garage here and no one to play against?

what is your estimate,how many players will stay here (Tanki Online flash) if we take few things into account few things I mention earlier to mr MSerbia

 

fact 1) players in current game with current garages (BIG majority is,let's be honest poor,and by poor I mean that they maybe have 1,max 2 m4 combos with no real garage alternative when opponent switches gear that doesn't suit them with their main combos) have option..to stay here or be more competitive in new game (which is excatly this game on different platform,telling anything else is pure BS,you can sell that to the kids,not mature people)..we both know those will leave to new game which "doesn't have anything common with current game"

 

fact 2) opportunity to start from scratch fits most to the average players,non buyers (no criticism,all games player base is "free players") but what about us who spended real money here,especially guys who spended maybe thousands Euros/dollars?You tricked us!!!Former CM told us that and I quote "rest assured,no one will spit in your faces,if full transfer won't be possible,there will be many goodies for those who will go on Unity Tanki"..since that was text from EMPLOYEE of the company,that would be the decision of the whole devs department,and not even one of them said he is wrong,or that won't happen etc..

 

               which gets me finnaly here,ur precious EULA..you hipocrits spiited on your rules as much as you spitted in our face:

to conclude..I don'rt beleive many will stay..hell,I think maybe 200 players or so..but..I wan't your answer

Of course, number of players in Tanki Online will begin to decrease, when they officially release Tanki X. We all agree on this.

 

Please do not think that I am happy there is no garage and rank transfer, because I am not. But let's face it, most of the players had expected this to happen unfortunately, sooner or later. For the simple reason that they avoided for a long to give us the final answer.

 

I'm just realistic, nothing more than that.

Well, since there are 11 turrets, not even 4-slot protection modules will be enough. Maybe we should create 11-slot modules? And maybe make them upgradable to 99% resistance to all, just so that your backside is covered in all situations?

Great thoughts!!! Mr.Cedric, this could be next new big UPDATE (paint which will have 99% on all turrets). And it should be purchased only with real money. I would be happy to see something like this in a SHOP. TROLL

problem is that they think we are too damn ******ed..announcing NO transfer together with 2 new weapons which will be released "never" :) kids here automaticlly hooked to that..because,let's face it,most of the players here (EN community in total,not just players who visit forum) have pathetic garages and they simply don't care much about that question which was quite a concern for old players,all they dream about is "new" game which will give them "BS rocket launchers","and launchers for mentally challenged" (I was free to name them,since there are no names stated yet :D ) but company don't care about players aho helped game to grow..heck,2 of my ideas are implemented in the game,which proablly means that I helped a bit,together with some veterans of the game..but company doesn't care about that..all they are into is $$$..

 

well,I got you wrong I think,for that,my sincere apologies :)

I left this game quite some time ago. Best thing I ever did BTW. Yes I miss my friends but not the stress and BS. I do come and read the forum from time to time, on the hopes things have gotten better but all I ever see is more ways to spend more money for less product. :huh:

As many have said, we continue to make negative predictions. The problem is, they always come true. :( I know that the DEVS would prefer that the many of us that can see whats wrong with most of their decisions(and usually only minutes after they announce them) would just leave. It would make it so much easier for them to continue to take advantage of the young or weak minded. Their preferred cycle of players would be start playing, get hooked, spend real money, and then leave quietly once they realize whats really going on here.

 

The game has majors flaws and they continue to ignore them in the name of profits. Well here's another prediction. Continue to choose profit over quality and the day will come where you will not have enough loyal players to maintain your game. 

 

 

I am @Canadian_Eh and I was a Tanki addict. It has been 5 months since I last played. :D

I even received an invite to test out TankiX but can't be bothered. I'm just not interested into falling back into their trap of broken promises and deceptions.

I still can't understand why you wouldn't want those two new weapons to be added to the game

The game will get boring after some time because of the same old thing

And I have a strong feeling tanki will add more slot to the protection. ....it just take time

The game is still evolving

 

When new physics was added most have you tankers didn't wanted it and didn't like it to be in the game....but look at you guys now...you wouldn't want they to remove it do you? Cause you guys love it now.....

So stop fusing and just go with the flow.

You're talking about the game getting boring he. What about FB contests, Twitter contests, eSports events, Contest in the official contest section of the forum, new maps, new game modes? The only thing we have now are the Tanki Thinking Challenges.

Also, the idea of protections isn't intended to be fail safe protection. It was never meant to protect you in all scenarios. The idea is to be strategic.

Excuse me, but I don't see how this is strategic. With the 1 minute delay to change equipment, you can't elaborate a long term strategy. Especially for small maps like Arena, Island or Ping-Pong. You change your module or turret, and then the enemies will do the same. For example, 1v1 CP in Island are a nightmare since every player goes in the garage 7 or 8 times in a 15 minutes battle. Time between changes should be higher, like 5 minutes. (Like it was before actually, but since Tanki devs already said they will never go back to an old setting...)

 

Anyway, that's not the main point. I do agree with AbsoluteZero. Right now, a 3 protections module is good for 11 weapons. Because, according to the maps you play (short or large), you can get a good module that will protect you from a large numbers of players (Thunder, Rail and Smoky in Dusseldorf, Isida, Freeze and Firebird in Polygon for example). But with 2 more weapons, modules will be less effective.

Do yourselves and us a favour and get your client version working before adding any new equipment to the game, then focus on allowing us to customise what we already have like...

  • The ability to add a resistance to a single module to make it a double
  • or making a trio to a quad
  • allowing us to make our own combination
  • allowing us to upgrade existing legacy modules further (would get me spending again)

I second this. I would also ask to add search and sort options to the battle menu. Extremely simple - something every spreadsheet and table application has out of the box. That and get rid of servers and make this happen behind the scenes. Already posted in I&S

Thanks. When an update is announced, I try to think about what it means for all players including the future of tanki online. I take into account of how tanki have handled similar updates, processes and procedures etc. So when I come in here and write something, know that I've thought about it first from many angles. I also try and back up what I write with useful facts and figures when I can.  I won't always get things right but I'm generally on the right track.

 

I know that Hazel, Cedric and a few mods don't like me much and that's fine. I'm certainly old enough and ugly enough to take some of their flack on behalf of others who are less likely to speak-up. Sure it's 'their' game and they reserve the right to take it any direction they so wish but our job here is not just to praise everything they do, it's also to highlight what they've done wrong or what they're about to do wrong. If we don't resist in these times then we apply no pressure which makes our voices and this forum meaningless.

soo im guesss since they adding new weapons will they bet better than the ones all of us use????? i hope so

All weapons are balanced such that they have near equal utility. The new turrets will be balanced in such a way too.

Announcement that we will have two new turrets, makes me wonder few things. Especially for "Artillery " turret.

 

Since this turret will not rotate horizontally, rather it will aim vertically. This kind of turret would be UP on large maps and OP on small maps. Let me explain why I think that.

 

Vertical aiming from the distance, behind the buildings, on large maps such as Kungur would be shot in the dark. In CTF battle mode, with this kind of turret, you can only support your team. But, even that support would not be effective. There are a lot of Wasps, Hornets, Vikings running across the whole map, going for your flag, usually not in the group. And that is the biggest problem, since the point of this turret is splash damage. Chances that you hit more that one enemy tank are very low.

 

On the other hand. If you are using this turret on a small map such as Polygon, it would be OP. In CP battle mode, player with "Artillery" turret can easily destroy four or more enemy tanks gathered arount the point. Splash damage plus double damage, one shot - four kills. It is logical to expect that this turret has a much higher splash damage from Thunder.
