This whole idea of adding 2 new turrets is more than funny. You should definitely stop copy pasting stuff from WoT and War Thunder, because those two games are "realistic" while Tanki is ... I don't even know how to call it.

, perhaps you could tell me which rank would your account be on TX; since you seem to be under the illusion that it's technically possible.

soo im guesss since they adding new weapons will they bet better than the ones all of us use????? i hope so

Can you be more specific, what do you mean by better?

All weapon are different and bring different game play, with pro and cons.

Some are better/stronger, yes if you play m1 versus m2, and yes also if you get a kit you usually get an advantage over people on the same rank with lower M and no kit. Plus if you MU your weapon it get stronger.

finally an artillery weapon and the heat-seeking rocket launcher turret also seems great <3

heat seeking? goodbye the firebird turret and the vulcan! will be more appealing to be a Freeze.

The new turrets don't sound to effective, but I bet they'll improve it.

How can you tell? with little information as we have and turret still in dev?

All weapon in skill hands are effective.

Enemy artillery behind a wall on top of Brest targeting your own platform would be a big problem, you won't be able to shoot at unless you also have the same weapon or you would have to there and kill him.

I can see 1 v 1 being quite boring even on with the landscape of Edinburgh. But some people prefer some type of weapon/game play/maps/paints.

Q: is the a wind force and direction is going to be added ?

I agree with developers, we should experience Tanki X from the beginning and recover the mistakes, which we have done in tanki online  :D, sorry buyers but you still have credit card, you guys rock rich people   :excl:

I think, I'm rich too but I don't waste money on a game and many more people play this game are rich too but don't waste there money on a game.

Wonder what lag will be like when rockets start flying around small maps.

LAUNCH

---- screen freezes ---

YOU EXPLODE

That's if an imbecile brings artillery into a small map

Tanki has spitting our faces. That is a fact when they stop support flash tankionline. And how long that time will be? I don't know. Future will show us.

I get spit on my face already, because I haven't played this game since new protective module update came (I hate that rip off just too much, and how it affect gameplay so much) , and now i heard there is't going to be any transfer to new game.

I have been tested new tank x game, and i really like it. But how i can start to play it, when i don't trust dev's and what they say? When they are spitting again and i loose all my stuff what i have been collecting many years? and then start doing that same thing again?

I don't want to think players who has spend money on this game and not giving any respect from dev's. They are loosing all they invest for nothing. That is not the way how you treat your most important part of you're players, who kept this game alive! Will they go to start new Tanki X, and start all over again? I don't think so. Maybe when you stop support tankionline, you can transfer some goodies to new tanki x?

I have been Tanki addict also, but thanks for new upgrades, I'm now free! so I'm really happy now. I will always remember this game how it was 1-2 years ago. And goodbye tankionline! and tanki x, and most important, all my friends here! Maybe we can keep contact via forum?

Will the new turrets replace thunder?

No. New turrets are just a plot device to distract us from the fact that there will be no progress transfer to Tanki X.

If no-one 'cries', devs have no feedback or criticism at all. They'd have no idea of our concerns. Would that be better according to you?

Yes but, seems that we players are "crying" on a wrong way. Especially for updates. And most of that "cries" are "rip tanki!", "noob update nooob devs!", and that cannot be called constructive criticism. If it can be called criticism anyway...

@Cedric Debono is answering at players questions in his Virtual Office and commenting in some other topics now and then. Which is great, and helpful to most players. Someone agrees with him, someone don't. But hey, that is something, somebody is listening to the players. Which is much more better than when a community manager was Semyon.

But what I do not like, is that except @Cedric Debono there is no one else to talk with constructive critizers. And this community have them. We are smaller community than the Russian community, that is true, but not so small that only one person should talk with us. And that sometimes, or better to say - most of the time, constructive criticism goes unnoticed because of the previously mentioned "criticism". And that is a fault of the part of the community. The more constructive criticism we have and the less "criticism" it is better for us all.

I'm talking about the few people who actually write decent posts. I also see Cedric is answering in his virtual office and some other official topics. Though, it's been a while he came across this topic and I've asked a few questions in here. I hope they don't go unnoticed. Administrators also forward our concerns, criticism and feedback to Cedric as they've got direct contact with him.

On one constructive criticism, comes more than 10 unconstructive criticism and that is not good. That is why I am also hoping that constructive criticism will not go unnoticed in the ocean of unconstructive criticism. Edited by Phoenix.Raised

Let's focus on the decent posts, mostly written by the same players, and leave aside the useless ones. :p

Yeah.... When there were 2-3-4 spammers and some amazing glitches and when esports battles were being DDOS'ed. Yep... Really miss those times. (Though in all fairness, we can't say esports battles won't be DDOS'ed now.... But considering esports is almost non-existent now..)

One of the reasons eSports isn't happening is because we want to set up an infrastructure that avoids these kinds of incidents. It's upsetting when you're having fun (both as players, and as organizers seeing an event being successful), and then some person comes and ruins it. So before we organize anything, we wanna make sure we have measures in place to avoid that kind of kill-joy situations.

This is a tricky thing. You have to understand that technically, I am the official voice of Alternativa for players, and I am the official voice of the players with Alternativa. Very often, players take my word lot more seriously than that of a mod, which is why mods often step back and leave the replies to me. There's also the fact that I'm always one step ahead of them, because I'm aware of things that they cannot be.

The downside is that (as you've mentioned) I cannot be everywhere. We kinda compensate for that through weekly reports where my mods bring me a "digest" of material I might have missed, as well as the hot topics of the week. I'll be aware of most of them, but there are others that would've slipped through the cracks if they hadn't been brought to my attention by my mods.

All in all, I'll admit openly that I feel like I'm never doing enough. PMs are piling up with every second, and forum replies are flooding in so fast I can't keep up. Obviously I'll keep trying my best, but I'll need you to be very patient with me.

On a final note, it really helps when people speak decently rather than go all out on the attack. I'm not easily fazed, after all, I did work as a casino dealer for 4 years, and the insults and threats I received there are much worse than what an angry player will tell me here. That said, it's so much easier to reply enthusiastically when someone approaches with kindness rather than aggression.

I am perfectly aware of that facts.

But it would be good for all of us, that someone from the development team is more visible in this community. To  say something on this Forum. On the topics of the greatest focus of attention of this community. I know that developers are browsing this Forum, but apart from the V-LOG's, they have something to say at this Forum. Don't they? Yes, Hazel comes here and there, but that is really rare.

In the most sensitive topic, in the last few years: Paint Separation Update, with 4 276 replies. You where there, moderators and administrators where there. But none of the developers. It would be good that they wrote two replies, at least as much. But they didn't.

I know that every community must work as a team, in order to function well. Because if not community is not functioning well. Simple logic, which also applies outside of this Forum. I know that you can't be everywhere, and that players always have something to ask you. There is always the question more, I know that.

I don't want to take time your time anymore. We had a good talk about these problems. At least say to developers

that means a lot to us, the players, when we hear their voice from the first hand. Because they are always "on the spot". Thank you.

Yes, I agree.

If you took a look at this topic http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=275554

entitled 'Slow down druggers' xp and in-game pts'

Even though I don't mind heavy supply use, (I can drug with the best of them), I listened to the constant complaints from those who are on the receiving end of mindless supply use and came up with a practical solution that is fair to all including tanki. It was an idea that would reduce attrition too with little or no impact on tanki. It was polite and well thought out and logically structured. But you see how I got treated in that topic by mods and Hazel.

If you wonder why players talk angrily sometimes, it's possibly because the kindly softly approach fell on deaf ears or was treated derision and ridicule.

Do yourself a favour and read the responses I got and come back to me and say those responses were fare, kind and polite. After all was said and done, they still didn't understand the suggestion or realise what I wanted to achieve. Even if the idea did not fall in line with tanki's development plans, is that any way to speak to someone that tried so hard on behalf of other players? I ask you!

If you get to the end of page 2 and are asking yourself what the big deal is, don't bother replying here either.
