Too many notifications

Hi

 

Recently I have been seeing an unusual surge of notifications on this account, with as many as 20 new ones each day. I currently have over 300 notifications, compared to 0 in my main account that has 1700 posts. How can I disable notifications?

If you feel that you're following too many topics, then click the triangle pointing down next to your name to bring up the user menu. Then, select "Content I Follow" from the menu.

 

Once you have opened up the menu selection, you will get a list of the topics which you follow or get notifications from. If you want to stop following one or more of these topics, then select "Toggle Edit Options", then check off all the topics that you want to unfollow. Then choose "Stop Following" from the drop-down menu, and select "Update Selected".
