It was given to everyone who did well in cybersport contests, like the teams "Noobest" or "GGWP" or "Can't Stop".

I have Firebird M1 with 5 MU's, but I can't get more than 30 damage (usually in the mid 20's) and the afterburn goes down very rapidly. The only way I can kill the enemy is if they are already nearly dead. I've given tanks an entire load of napalm and they just go about their business as if I'm not even there. I see the damage being done so I know I'm not lagging.

 

On the other hand, on another account, I have Hornet M2 with Firebird protection and all they have to do is give me about a half load and I'm dead. I've seen the same person, as I'm dying, go to another tank and kill that one with the rest of his load and without DD.

 

What am I missing, here?

 

Sorry, I just realized I'm logged in with Torva-Messor instead of the account with which I'm having problems. So, please don't think I'm using M1's at my rank. However, the question still stands.

Firebird afterburn is a joke.  Complete joke. I fight Firebirds all the time and the afterburn, if I look very closely, I can see my health going down super slowly. Currently the stock firebird is the weakest turret in the game, It MUST BE BUFFED. It's basically a freeze without freeze effect.  Of course m1 firebird's afterburn was never very strong anyway but now it is unnoticeable.

The only thing you can do is asked for the stock firebird to be buffed in the news section.

 

That Firebird M2 guy must have had the alteration.

Why can't I upgrade?

 

My rank is third lieutenant and I can no longer upgrade my turret and hull. I'm half way to the highest level of upgrade but can go no further, why is this? Does my rank prevent me? If so at what rank can I continue to upgrade?

Could you provide some screenshots? What exactly is preventing you from upgrading(as in, what comes instead of the upgrade button)?

This is the new turret which is being planned, to be implemented in the game. Currently it is still under development and testing processes. The ratings where you are seeing them is of a developer himself, he is just testing it out on the battlefield.

Use full-screen mode. There is a built-in function in the game, which allows you to play in full-screen more and successfully solve the issue of poor game performance. Press F11 to activate full-screen mode, and then click “Allow” at the top of the screen. Press F11 once again to exit it. And for MacOS, the hotkey is Alt+Fn+F11.

It works like any other program where you can switch to full screen mode. Basically enlagres everything. Obviously, enlarged screen means you can clearly see some things which wouldn't be visible on small screen.
