I use 5,1,2,3 keys in numpad instead of arrow keys. Try it, you will get used to it in some days.

I don't think I could get used to those controls. So, there is no way to solve Up, Left, Down, Right controls so they don't jam?

 

Because it's a limitation in your hardware, you can't fix it. Instead I suggest you try different key combinations and see which combination gives least ghosting. In my case that's WASD for driving and BN for turning my turret. I deliberately switched from the arrows to WASD to solve my ghosting issue, so I can't tell you which combinations would work best when you're using your right hand for driving. Simply a matter of trial and error..;p

Actually it is very similar to arrow keys for me, I could play perfectly well within a day.

Yes, that's for future plans. It hasn't been implemented yet.

I suggest driving with the 'I' 'J' 'K' and 'L' keys, that solves the problem usually. I am using them myself.

For years I've used the z,x,c and arrow keys until I got a new keyboard. I have the same ghosting problem. Now I use z,x,c...i,j,k,l. Yes, it took a couple days to get used to it, but no more ghosting. Now, when I play my Firebird/Hornet account, I can drive rings around those big hulking hulls with the slow moving turrets. Whereas, before, instead of driving rings I was driving squares. 

 

There's nothing you can do to prevent ghosting, except to change hand positions. It all depends on how the keyboard is "wired" by the manufacturer. Some manufacturers of gaming keyboards claim theirs don't ghost. But still, it all depends on the hand position. I don't know of any keyboard that is absolutely ghost free.

I never thought about that. My numpad has the arrow keys, too. Do you have to lock the numpad to use them?

No, I don't use those arrows.

Yep, that's how mine are, too. I have the regular arrow keys plus arrow keys on the numpad, marked the......Oh, wait......I just took another look. My numpad arrows are 8 = up, 2 = down, 4 = left, 6 = right. That's quite a big jump from 8 to 2. Nope don't guess I'll use those.

Upload your image on an image hosting websites, if you don't know how to do that, read this: How to upload an image?

Once you have uploaded the image,

1. Copy the link of the uploaded image

   Ctrl+C (copy).

2. Enter a forum post.
3. Click "Image"

   

4. Paste the link to the message by pressing Ctrl+V (paste)

   .

5. Click OK.

Tanki is boring the crap out of me at the moment. I'm outgunned and out hulled in every battle.

 

Sick to death of M4 twins, finger jammed on the space bar hitting 12345 as fast as possible. 

 

Spending hundreds if not thousands of Xtals per game in drugs to get maybe 40 back because the team I'm on seems to be made up entirely of chimps at the zoo or drunkards mashing the keys with their foreheads.

Someone tell me the secret of having all the drugs active all the time. I swear I've seen players self destruct when the drugs run out so they can respawn with a fresh set and go all over again. 

 

Is there light at the end of the tunnel or is it a railgun on drugs just about to do 4000 points of damage to my 3500 hp tank?

 

Oh and a little reminder to the 5 year olds. If the whole team goes tear-arsing off towards the opposition's flag it leaves ours undefended, idiots.
