In ASL how are stars earned for the red team? For making flags only? Kills don't count?

All you have to do is to earn score in the map, it doesn't matter how; Kills, assists, flags - everything counts!

I just left ASL red. I had 8 kills and 3 deaths (came into the game late) and got 0 stars. The only ones who made stars on red team were the flag runners who made the flags. I made 0 points, too, and so did the rest of the team, but the flag runners got 3 stars each. Sorry, I'm beginning to second guess myself if I was looking at stars or points. But still, the only ones on our team that made anything were the runners.

Yes, I have voted. I've been in the WAR since day 1.

GOD Bless a milk cow!!!! Don't you think I've been doing that!?! I've been making stars before I played ASL and after. In fact, when I played ASL, I had 18 stars. I now have 25.

I tried it out for you; I joined an ASL match (red team). I didn't take the flag, the only thing I did was killing the opponents and I got a star.

It's based on score.  Flag runners tend to get a way better score.

 

When did you join battle?  How many minutes elapsed?

If you join a battle with < 5 minutes left, there's a chance you don't get score > 100.  = 0 stars.

I got placed into a battle with 3 mins left and I managed to get 100 score but I was above the last person yet still received 1 star.

The 1st guy in the winning team gets 3 stars, and 2nd and 3rd gets 2 stars each. Rest who did 100+ score gets 1 star.

 

As for the losing team, the top 3 gets 2 stars each, and rest who did 100+ score 1 star. 

 

No matter which team, you have to earn at least 100 score to get a star.

How come every game I get at least a 2.00 KD, but my overall KD's been dropping?

Keeps on dropping... I was at 5.09 as my record, and I don't think I've ever gotten a KD below 1 in the past week or so, but it's dropped to 4.95. Annoyed. Am I doing my math wrong or shouldn't any KD above 1 be enough to raise your KD?

Unless you have K/D >= 5.09 every battle it will always drop.  Any battle below your current K/D will drop it a little. 

 

A lot of "littles" = significant drop over time.

My mistake, sorry. I've never heard of anyone losing rank in the game before, are you completely sure that you ranked up? Did you see the rank up animation come up from your own tank? Perhaps it was someone directly next to you or underneath you.

I have a few questions about the Freeze Alternations here

 

• Alterations of various rank can be stacked upon one another. Alterations of the same rank, however, cannot stack, and must be used individually. (from wiki)

 

Does this mean I will be able to use both, the M1 and M2, alternations at the same time?

 

Is it correct if I say that I will be able to deal 1100 dmg/sec at range 20 meters with fully upgraded M3 Freeze and both Alternations equipped?

I participated in 9 turns and my friend in 8 or 7 .

we both got 5 stars in each turn except turn 9/10 the one that finished the war . he got 47 stars in turn  10 , so he should get x10 containers + x15 for winning the war , he just got x20 , I got 5 stars in final turn so I should get x3 + x15 and I just got x3

As far as I know not all prizes for the war have been sent out yet. I'd suggest you wait a few more days and if you still don't get them contact the Help Desk through this form: https://tankionline.com/forms/free/en/

If you are on winning faction (Lions) you get +20 containers (not 15) when WAR finishes.
