Hey,

 

After reading about half of that text, I was about to jump with joy that the one and only Guido was going to buy me some crystals. Apparently, you had a lot more evil thoughts than I had expected.  :ph34r: 

 

I have just tested this theory and it appears that the link is updated every so often, rendering it outdated after a few minutes. Which means, I am indeed safe from your dark thoughts about what you might have planned for my poor little account.  B) 

 

I really do appreciate the concern though...

sometimes the link expires after 5 minutes... sometimes it last for 2 days...

 

you got away this time... but you can't always be lucky.

 

remember, I only have to be lucky once, you'll have to be lucky every time. :D

Why doesn't tanki do anything about the striker?

Because in my opinion it is heavily underpowered in comparison with the other turrets.

In battles you don't see the striker much, but it is a nice weapon I think.

 

A good upgrade would be, that like if you hold space bar till the circle is half filled, you fire 3 rockets.

Right now, the only thing you can do is fire 1 rocket, or fire 6 rockets.

To fire 6 rockets, it takes quite long to get the circle full, so it is hard to hit an enemy with 6 rockets.

Because in my opinion it is heavily underpowered in comparison with the other turrets.

In battles you don't see the striker much, but it is a nice weapon I think.

 

A good upgrade would be, that like if you hold space bar till the circle is half filled, you fire 3 rockets.

It's 1 OR 4 rockets, unless you have the other alteration in which case it is 8 rockets.

The alteration is probably not unlocked yet for your rank but there is alteration for striker to use 8 rockets for big hulls such as titan/mammoth.

Striker can only shoot the following number of rockets in salvo mode (when the target laser is full). 

The only turret which fires 6 rockets in a standard salvo is Terminator (which can only be used as the Juggernaut).

Hold space-bar down for ~ 3 sec and it fires FOUR guided misiles

 

Buy alteration and hold for 1 second - fires 1 guided Missile.

 

Buy other alteration and hold for ~ 4 seconds and it fires 8 guided Missiles.

i was getting 9999 GS with smokey n thunder XT but now it only shows 9949 , although i get 9999 with rail n rico XT.

all the turrets i mentioned are M4's ,the only different is rail n rico has shot effects n the rest dont. am gussing shoteffects does give some points..

so how am i supposed to get the full GS with thunder n smoky sine they dont effects at all?

Yes, shot effects now do give 50 GS (check here)

You need to have shot effects on them if you want 9999 GS

Recently Shot Effects were added to Gear Score, and some of the values were decreased to take it into account. Does your Railgun have a Shot Effect equipped?

Yes, shot effects now do give 50 GS (check here)

yes it does, my only complaint is these turrets has no shotefects at all so i will not get the maximum GS from them

Something I'm a bit confused about.

 

If I create a CP battle and light up all the cps, they don't count because there is no one on the other team. However, when a player joins the other team, do those cps start racking up points right away? If the other player's name is on the battle list, but he hasn't materialized yet, am I racking up points even though he isn't physically there?

If the system thinks he is in the battle (whether he is or not) you will start gaining points. I believe that an opponents name in the battle list shows that the server thinks he is there.

I think so, too. There have been times the loading bar doesn't go all the way over. If I stay to see if it finally does, I get a message that tells me I've been kicked out of the battle for inactivity. I don't know what my tank is doing during that time, if it's a ghost or if my name is on the battle list, but the system thinks I'm there.

2. Does the weight of the tank affect the physics? Like jumping off a cliff?

Or does it only affect how much another tank can push you?

1.  Yes, it reduces self-damage. I experimented it by wearing a thunder protection and shooting myself with thunder in a wall, it proved less self-damage.

 

2. For your second question,

 

According to Tanki Wiki, 

 

Weight — affects the tank's stability, its resistance to the impact force of the enemy's hits, the recoil of its own turret, and to a lesser extent, its ability to move other tanks. This parameter does not affect the tank's speed and is disabled in the Parkour format.

 

Since 'Weight' doesn't affect the tank's speed, I don't think it affects how high or low a tank can jump off a cliff.

If weight doesn't affect speed, then why aren't Mammoths programmed to travel as fast as Wasps? 

 

As far as jumping is concerned, I've experienced that it has a lot to do with where the turret is located, affecting the balance of the tank.

When you click "Play" in a specific battle, your name will be added to the battle list (but players inside the battle might not see your name until you fully load in) regardless of whether your loading bar has fully loaded and you have appeared in the battle field or not. So the server thinks you are in the battle but in a state of 'Inactiveness' and kicks you within 2 minutes, and that's the reason why you see "You have been kicked out of the battle due to inactivity" even if you have not been fully loaded and appeared in the battle field. And your tank won't be as a ghost, your tank appears only after you are fully loaded in.

 

If weight doesn't affect speed, then why aren't Mammoths programmed to travel as fast as Wasps?


Mammoths aren't programmed to travel as fast as Wasps because how fast a tank can travel depends on the following factors 'Acceleration (Power)' & 'Top Speed'.

Unfortunately the wiki doesn't exactly specify what Xone has suggested above, I'll try and have someone test it out and report the results, I'll edit this post with the observations!

Edit: The mines will remain forever no matter how many times you die. Mines will disappear based on how many you can put(maximum of 9 i believe), but self destructing or getting killed won't make your mines disappear. Leaving the battle is the only way for the mines to go away.

Hi, sorry I saw your edit only now. If I put 9 mines (max MU) and got killed, those 9 mines survive right? Now after respawn I start to place other mines, the olders disappear to maintain the maximum number or can I place another set of them?

Sounds like you contradicted yourself. So, weight does affect speed. I thought so.

Those are 3 different parameters...

 

Speed (top velocity)

Power (acceleration and pushing ability)

Weight (stability & ability to resist pushing)

 

I don't see how weight affects speed. 

Mammoth has great power = good acceleration - so it gets up to it's top speed quickly. It's all relative though, as top speed is low.

 

The Hunter/Titan/Mammoth Power/Weight ratios are interesting.  1600/3000... 1400/3800... 1500/4000

Which can push the other???

Guess it depends on which stat has great weight (no pun intended)

It's already been made stronger - I see more in battles now - mostly because of the alts.

 

I do wish the Hunter Alt had two missiles that did slightly less damage each - but - at least it's useable.

 

Striker still has some maps where it's better than others, but is better than before with the alts.  Not yet my go-to turret though.

I need help. on the 2018-10-28 day someone hacked into my account and spent 77k crystals. now i have 142k but i need 77k so i can buy a kit. I have emailed tanki and they say i bought it. They can check the logs 10-28 day. they will see that i didnt buy it. Please guys i need help. this is what they email me back everytime. CLICK help me please.
