Ok I have a situation and I would want a direct answer. I fully MU'ed an M1 protection module to M2 but there isn't an option to get M2 for free (I assume because of my rank), which means I'm stuck with an M2 protection module until I have 250k crystals to get M3 instantly. I want to know if Tanki can somehow help me with that? Like manually change the module to M2 or something. Is that possible? Thanks!

Hi, it's exactly like you mentioned, you are stuck with the fully MU'd protection module until you have enough crystals to purchase the M3, so nope it's not possible.

Wow ok then. I wish I could've known much earlier. Thanks anyway!

Same thing happened to me on one of my lower accounts. I purchased Shaft M0 thinking I could MU it to M0 10/10 before M1 was locked out. I wasn't getting enough crystals to make that happen. By the time I got it fully upgraded the M1 was locked. I, too, came to the forums wondering why I didn't get the M1 and got the same answer.

Has the Vulcan's nerfs been reverted? The rev time was so much longer and over heated a bit faster with the nerfs in place. I think this change happened in 2018, but I'm not sure.

Yes, Vulcan has changed a bit. An also new this year, is it causes less damage while overheating. This last change came due to many people using Isida and Titan OD to heal while overheating.

I've noticed while using Vulcan, damage points are not consistent. They can range anywhere from a single number on up into the 50's on the same tank in the same attack. Why is that?

In a battle a few weeks ago, I was up against a Wasp without Vulcan module coming towards me. All I was getting off him was single digits and a couple double digits in the teens. Throughout the entire battle, he singled me out for an easy kill with Freeze. Each time, my damage on him was very low. How is that possible?

I'm willing to gamble that that was caused by Incendiary Band Vulcans and not any other type of Vulcan. The other types of Vulcans had and still have nothing to gain from shooting while overheating; only Incendiary Band Vulcans did.

I'm curious as to how Vulcan's damage works as well as stated here.

On my now M2 Vulcan, the highest number I get when attacking someone within my maximum damage range is 106 when I think that it's normal. Sometimes, I get even more damage than that on a bullets and may just to 142 or even 200. I assume that that is just bullets that piled up but didn't do damage so it stuck with the next bullet's damage. I sometimes get as low as 3 when I'm that close but that's usually when they die.

While overheating, my damage becomes consistent between two numbers. I think they were 11 and 26 when I saw it yesterday. I give up whenever a Freeze starts shooting me from the side. Even with the Reinforced Aiming Transmission alteration, my turret and hull's movement is down to 10% of what it was which makes me immobile considering I use Mammoth with it.

You can find the two most recent Vulcan changes here:

First Vulcan Change

Second Vulcan Change

Basically, try not to overheat at all unless it is crucial or you know that you're going to die anyways. All modifications of Vulcan had gotten a 10% damage increase so you can utilise that.  :)

About the last change, isn't that the whole, ya know, point of the overheating feature? Like, I get it's to make sure you don't just keep shooting forever, but still, it makes no sense for the damage to drop while overheating. The overheating part is already the biggest deterrent from shooting until killing yourself, plus, you lose points for self destructing anyways, so what's the point of making yet another reason not to shoot more than you have? It seems like the devs are planning to just remove the overheating part altogether and just turn off the Vulcan when you run out of ammo.

Hello,I noticed that I get less and less crystals. Today I was playing Juggernaut and I got only 54 crystals and the guy below me that had less kills than me and more deaths than me (we had the same bonus..) and he got 154 crystals. This is very annoying, because I'm a non-buyer and I have to grind so I can buy a kit. I would appreciate the help.  :) https://imgur.com/a/LExRtUL

Which is dumb - since not all Vulcan's have an isida glued to them.

How many Isidas are healing the Vulcan in DM?

And Titan OD is supposed to do that. That's a benefit of using the OD.

Kind of like a Duplet with DD can kill a Hunter even as it activates it's own OD.

How about Mammoths on smaller maps making easy caps in Assault - unstoppable with OD.

It's not the turrets that is the issue - it's OverDrives and alterations in general.

Overall - it's a cheap and lazy fix by the Devs that punishes many vulcan users.

Devs actually ruined Vulcan when they added the ridiculous increase to spin-up time. Was not needed. At ALL.

The matchmaking teams are based primarily on rank, but the wiki mentions the involvement of "other factors" so my best bet is that GS is also taken into account but at a much less accurate range, since you can find players with highly varying GS in the same battle.

I noticed that when I played with my Hunter M2 6/10 I was put with Majors every battle, but when I play with Hornet M1 1/10 I'm often the highest rank in the battle. Same turret all the time - Shaft M2 7/10.

If you watch the Vlog, they explained everything about Vulcans changes. I would suggest you watch it.

Why do you assume I have not already watched it?  <_<

Is it possible to remove an account, if yes, how?

You can't remove or delete Tanki accounts. All you can do is to forget your account...

Tanki will delete your account after being inactive for awhile. At least 1+ years.

After server update, it still wasn't there. I filled out the form but the email address I used I forgot I had deleted it. Now what do I do? The form said that a verification code was sent to that account. I tried to recover it, but failed. I had used my mobile phone for recovery. I no longer have that phone and can't remember the phone number. I got rid of that phone a couple years ago.
