Regarding mission chains:

Imagine that today, I complete all three of my missions, but only click "Claim Reward" on one of them. Tomorrow, I don't complete any additional missions, but click "Claim Reward" on one of the missions I completed today. The next day, I again don't complete any new missions, but do click "Claim Reward" on the last of the missions I completed today.

Have I broken the chain, or is it intact?

Mahalo!

  1. Will wasp get less weight ever?
  2. when will infinite supplies be added to the parkour mode?
  3. will you guys ever add a message to battle invites?

Probably not. The developers haven't touched hull balance for a while, and I don't think they will; they're quite balanced. You don't see people complaining about hull balance much.

I doubt it. TO needs income, and parkourists use plenty of supplies; besides, if you get your club to an "official" position, you might get supported officially - 300 drugs a week.

The current system doesn't allow for it, but I believe they're thinking about it for HTML.

Isn't this forum topic kinda (or I guess, pretty much) the same as http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=364201&page=1?

Not quite, C-HQ is mostly for asking questions about Nives or the developer plans or such. Q&A is more about game questions, like "Why is M2 Wasp faster AND stronger than Hornet M2".

Tonight, for the first time in my entire tanki career (and it's been a long one) I saw a Wasp drive under a Titan and another one drive under a  Mammoth with ease like they were made of pudding and no SB or OD activated. How is this possible? Does that mean that big tanks can no longer stop the small ones? I have a Wasp on another account. I've come head to head with the big tanks, but I was never able to go under them. When did this become possible?

I was the Titan (on another acc) using Vulcan playing ASL. The Mammoth/Thunder and I were defending the cap area. A Wasp/Magnum came straight at me. I was firing at him and doing damage, but very little. He went right under me (my tank lifted in the air). I had trouble driving off him and he carried me the short distance to our cap.

Later, in the same battle, a Wasp/Firebird drove under the Mammoth, the same as the other one drove under me and made the cap. Neither Wasp fired a shot while heading straight for us.

When the Magnum drove under me, the Mammoth fired at him. I don't know what kind of damage he was doing, but the Wasp survived. The same as when the Firebird drove under the Mammoth. I fired at him, but did even less damage because the Mammoth was in the way of my shots. The Wasp survived.

I don't know. There's too many glitches in this game or there's more hackers than Tanki thinks (or wants to admit) there is.

Hi All. I've noticed a couple of players managing to self right an upside-down tank.

Hard as I try I can't seem to do it. A hornet/rail did in in front of me on sandbox and I was amazed.

Anyone want to let me in on the secret?

This can be one of two things: lags or cheating software.

In the case of lags, only on your end it looked as if the player was flipped, in reality he/she wasn't.

Honestly I think it could be the by-product of the anti-cheat system, although what you described sounds a lot like hacking. After the anti-cheat improvement I have been driving under tanks and tanks have been driving under me on flat ground. It's really weird how it happens, since my ping is generally fine.

 The anti-cheat system will destroy one tank on top of another, but it allows you to go under them?

Okay, @CooperO, please explain to me how a tank can appear turned upside down but really isn't. Even in lag, either it is or it isn't, it can't be both.

One scenario - Tank is on its side; if it doesn't shoot against the ground, it will flip. On his side, he shoots and successfully unflips itself. However, if you're lagging it could look like he didn't shoot, therefore, it would flip, but only on your side.

Schrodinger's tank?

I often see tanks "teleport." The tank is clearly headed across my screen, then suddenly, it's waaaaay over there, nowhere near where I was aiming. It seems to me that there's some local predicting going on with my machine when lag gets high/ It seems to think "Well, that tank was going in a straight line, so it'll probably keep going in a straight line, so I'll just draw it that way until I get confirmation. Oh, wait, he actually turned left? Half a second ago? Well, let me update the display. I bet my user never even notices."

If that could happen, I don't see why my machine couldn't think a tank which was in the act of flipping would continue to flip, not taking into account any corrective action the player might use.

But when you say "...managing to self-right an upside-down tank," did the tank just instantaneously change states, or did you see it wriggling and struggling?

That's what used to happen, but now the physics is wonky. For me at least.

Greetings.

I would like to ask two questions.

They are the most frequent questions found on the TO Steam forum -- which everybody on there seems to ask, but which seem to never get any genuinely conclusive answer because no moderator or individual with authority on the Steam forum has cared to show their presence in the past several months.

These questions deal specifically with the version of Tanki Online provided on Steam:

  • Why, once you login or create a TO account, does that TO account get linked to your Steam account, and there is no ability to log out of the TO account?
  • Why has the in-game Shop been disabled since late December, and -- in the case it will ever be enabled back -- when will it be available again?
Thank you in advance for your consideration.

No lag on my end ping usually in the low double digits and full 60 fames per second.

I've seen it a couple of times. tank either gets blown over or tips itself over. fully flat to the ground, then it flips back up on it tracks like nothing happened. Funny though I suggested this as a new supply. Maybe someone beat me to it.

Unfortunately there is no proper official communication specifically for the Steam community. I'm not sure why developers haven't implemented anything.

1) Yes, the account does get linked to your Steam account. Its impossible to unlink the account once you've done that.

2) The shop was disabled due to credit card fraud. There is no information about when it'll be reinstated but I'll get back to you if I find anything.
