Minehunt Event Discussion

Minehunts are a Tanki Online game in which a player will hide a few mines around a map (usually a large one) in hidden locations. Then, other players attempt to find all the mines, and when finding a mine one will go over it (and get destroyed) to indicate that he found the mine. The player with the most mines popped at the end of the game wins.

I'm really happy the first FB event has been organized since a very long time. I hope it's the start of more.

 

 

 

What I'd like to advise is to make a different event for the EN and DE community. It's quite hard to join with so many players, German and English players, waiting for the exact same battle. With separate events, more players can join in the event they've been waiting for quite a long time. Also, when posting the links, one community will always get the link a bit earlier than the other. I guess Germans ain't happy with so many EN players all of a sudden taking their spot.

First of all, I would like to explain you something:

For the past few months, there were a couple of people working very hard "behind the scenes", trying to improve the community. We were working on new Events! So, let me tell you, Daily Events will start soon! How fast? We do not know, it is up to the Administration to do the finishing touches now, but it shouldn't take too long. Thank you all for your patience and support!

I know you're helping the DE community. I've met you in the events there.  :D As for the white part, I'm glad Darren and I decided to create this topic. I'm looking forward to the future events. :D

Yes, please don't turn EN Mine Hunts into DE ones. We've responded badly to how we don't have the right to wear the equipment we want and do parkor with. Shaft definately in my mind is not a turret which most would use to do parkour with. Edited August 17, 2016 by cube3e

In case you're not aware, Sewegart doesn't have his spec atm as Cedric is reviewing all EN specs. It's upto the new YT spec admin whether Sewegart gets his spec back. In my opinion, Sewegart was making real good use of his spec and should get it back asap. :)

It was a real success!

It was nice seeing some players from this community taking part, having fun and even reaching the mines, which were high, high, high up in the Skies  

This is just the begging of many more Events, and it would be amazing to see more players from this community taking part.

Soon there will be a Sub Forum for only Events, where you will know more about these Daily Events.

The first official Minehunt happened yesterday at 18:00 UTC. Follow TankiOnline's official Facebook page for more news on Minehunts and their timings.

For this, and all other similar questions:

 

For now, we only did one event, to see how the Community responds. Once we will start with making them on daily basis, there will be notifications on Facebook, Forum and in-game.

With the creation of Events Section, all Events orientated topics will be officially created in there. Thank you for the topic tho, we gained at least some feedback from it!
