[Declined] Make the game more popular

Recommended Posts

I have a few ideas if anyone is interested, feel free to discard.

1. Move from flash to HTML5. Most people can't be bothered downloading a client.

2. Advertise the game more, on game sites and on social media.

3. Give more freebies to recruits to make the game more exciting. Give three days of premium, unlock maps early like island, highland and polygon, unlock supplies earlier.

Declined.

Please post a separate topic for each idea.

  1. You do not need to download a client, the game can be played on browser.
  2. There's no point advertising this game anymore since TX is going to be launched.
  3. They already get a lot more stuff at the beginning. Giving them more stuff would make the game look too easy. I've said this elsewhere, but high ranks need some exclusivity for them, making everything available from low ranks would make high ranks useless, and no one would want to be a high rank.

Developers have their own official marketing experts who get paid to come up with new methods to increase the game's popularity. Something as simple as "advertise the game more" has obviously been considered hundreds of times before, so suggesting it here is pointless effort. Same goes for the first and third points you suggested - giving new players more stuff and moving to HTML5 isn't something developers would have never thought of without this topic :)
