I think the conversation's gone from iPhones to Macs now but in general I don't think Apple products suck, they're just overpriced. They do look really nice, and I personally don't think the products are bad quality.

There are advantages to both systems, in short, Android/Windows are best if you want pretty much infinite customization, the list is endless, from boot animations to custom ROMs, and as for Windows it's got far more op than Mac OS. iOS/Mac OS however, is far superior to Android in terms of user experience, thus making it excellent for an average consumer who only wants to message/call/browse/camera/office/editng etc.

 

Let me explain the reason I say Apple has a superior user-experience. Example: Updates, updates in Windows are installed somewhat forcibly and definitely disruptivly, when an update is available in Windows you are only given the option to 'update & shutdown', even worse, when restarting after such an update before you are allowed to use your computer the update process continues. Admittedly you can change this in settings but that impacts the user experience.

 

On the contrary, a Mac will simply update itself discreetly in the background without locking you out of your computer.

 

Now lets talk phones, technically Android is better, yes, I've said it, but... People choose iPhone for a reason, that is they are much faster at loading apps, not necessarily due to the processor as much the apps are optimised for one or two (Chipgate) particular processors.

 

This leads to another reason why iPhone can be better, app development.

 

The amount of different Android versions/handsets being currently used is vast, whereas with Apple the are only a few different versions of iOS/iPhones being used, you could probably count them on your hands. It matters to development because startup/amateur devs cant afford to test thier apps for bugs on all the different Android versions, thus you will commonly see new apps being relised in the App Store rather than Google Play.

 

As a summary, both are excellent ecosystem in their own right which is why they are always in fierce competition, it just depends what you prefer.

 

Incase you're wondering, I'm an Android user, though I would purchase a Mac over PC if I had the choice.

Hell, despite it having low storage capacity and a shoddy connection, my Android Tracphone is much better than my dad's Iphone.

Not only am I playing three Pokémon games and Tetris, but I have a library of YT-to-MP3 music. While he has to find enjoyment out of whatever's on Itunes and the App store.

As someone who never used earphones, I can tell you that I see no difference between between IPhone 7 and IPhone 6

Every time a new version comes out one of the older ones completely dies. When they release iPhone 7, all the iPhone 4/4s are going to crash at the same time
