Standalone Flashplayer

I'm having problems with Standalone Flashplayer (versions 18 and 22). When starting the game, it starts loading, but before I can even fill in my nickname and password, it closes.

Hi, I had this issue too, try accessing the game using the EN1 server, which is this link http://tankionline.com/AlternativaLoader.swf?config=c57.tankionline.com/config.xml&resources=s.tankionline.com&lang=en&locale=en

Accessing any other server from in game should work fine, I already reported the issue to the technical support, so for now that's a good workaround.

Take care

Hopefully mods will keep this topic open, just to get a bit of a feel of how many players are having this issue.

This isn't just with standalone flash by the way, all browsers as far as I know are having this issue as well.

Once I get a response from the technical support of Tanki Online I will share their response here if the topic is still open whenever they do so.

Same here, you can access to a specific server just by add anything before the link "tankionline.com", for example your Nickname in the game

Original link of RU1 server :

After edit :

http://M2.tankionline.com/AlternativaLoader.swf?config=c1.tankionline.com/config.xml&resources=s.tankionline.com&lang=en&locale=en

Response from Technical Support:

Hello!

Yes, we are currently researching the problem.

One of the following actions should help you to solve the problem.

Clearing SharedObjects.
To clear SharedObjects you need to close your browser(s), go to C:\Documents and Settings\<your PC account>\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player#SharedObjects\ and delete all subfolders in this folder (they look like 6V5RURUW).

Once you’ve deleted all these temporary folders, launch your browser and enter Tanki Online.
Important! After the cleaning procedure, the game server will forget your password, even if you used "Remember me" checkbox. So make sure you remember your password.

Good luck in battles!

Same issue with Tanko(game client given to moderators)... what tech support suggested is a definitive fix for it as well.

Also - the client is 'glitching' on certain servers while works fine on the rest and yes it closes after 10% of loading on some particular servers as well.

It's perhaps an issue from TO side.

Tanki is preparing the upcoming game client for release, by doing so they have to change a few settings. This, unfortunately, has its effects on Standalone Flash Player (and Tanko).

Workarounds provided in this topic seem to work so far.

I don't know if it will be fixed, nor how long it would take.
If you're using Standalone Flash Player though, load another server first, then go the server you want from the lobby.
