The whole point is for people to be able to customize their weapons to better fit their playing style.

Are we not making the game too complicated to play?

It used to be simple and easy to play. Now and even more in the future people will spend more time trying to fine tune there equipment rather than playing.

What about new player, when they see the complexity of all the parameter, is this not going to put them off?

And the occasional player with all the updates you stay away from TO a month and then everything is different when you come back. They have to spend 30 minutes to find and then go through the new game play information, they probably will not bother and go away. it would be fine for a game when you play 2 hours you achieved 10 new level, but for TO it takes 16 months to reach Gismo playing every day. It took me 9 months to achieve my current level and I play everyday.

More info about the client but not Tankers Day... hmmm I guess that's next week or the following since there is still some time (I think its in the middle of Sep?)

The contests look pretty cool tho :D Would have liked more info on alterations but I guess more work still needs to be done on them :/

The new player will get to decorate their M0 turret like a Barbie doll.

And I'm ecstatic about doing that. C:

A game like this needs to evolve, otherwise it becomes obsolete. That's why we need to introduce new content. You're saying that we're over-complicating things, but trust me, if things remained the same, you'd get bored of the game.

As for new players, I'm not worried. The game starts off simple enough. Then after a while the opportunities to experiment with playing style start showing up, and that's where the real fun begins. There are tons of games out there that are many times more complicated than Tanki Online, and it doesn't intimidate new players.

Info on Tankers day will come next week, don't worry  :)

As for Alterations, there's still a lot of work to be done. I'm afraid you'll need to be patient.

I'm not against new things. Will see, but I'm not in hurry.

Tankers Day is the second Sunday of September. They won't release sale information a week before. :P

Hopefully the client is near completion, it will be one of the best updates to TO IMO.

Sure. But tell me, in the case of Thunder for example :

Would you like to get higher damage with a slower reload. Or being able to rotate turret faster and lose some damage?

I'd rather customize damage/splash/reload or even range than the rotation speed. And I hope a lot of people think the same way ^^.

Let's just wait and see what our devs come up with.
