The Gold box supply is a very rare reward, so developers decided that it will only appear occasionally in normal missions. Getting it on a regular weekly basis will devalue the Gold box even more. It might also affect their revenue, because many players will complete missions to get golds rather than spend real money to get them.

 

A gold box is only worth 1000 crystals. The difficulty of the mission is probably the same as one i can 2.5k crystals for completing. Getting the gold box is more trouble than it is worth.

You really think that it will devalue the Gold Box? I don't think so... because

 

1) If Goldboxes are given to players who finish their daily chains, then, knowing the fact that gold box is rare and can come like 1 gold box in an entire month, that would mean that the Gold Box will still be rare.

 

2) If someone plays everyday, then let them have the gold box by finishing chain. What's the harm in that? ONLY players who do play will get this gold box, which means that these are the active players and they are the ones keeping Tanki Online running. So if they are the ones keeping TO running, then they deserve the gold.

 

3) This is just 1 gold box. It can't make a rain of gold boxes or something like that. 

 

4) There may be cases where the person ENTIRELY looses the gold boxes! Yes, he may loose the gold box. Suppose a player with 1 gold box is in a battle, and wants to plant a mine, but poor player, he mistakenly clicked the 6 key! Now he is doomed and has to wait more 7 days for the gold box. What is even worse is the fact that his chain has a possibility of being broken if he is not a regular player. More information of this can be found here

 

5) Even after all the 4 points listed above, if you think this will degrade the gold box value, there is one last solution that still exists. That is to limit the gold box in the last chain. For example, I start playing continuously from this day to next month, so I will get 1 gold box. Then if I play less but complete mission, I won't get goldy at the last chain. It depends on time spent on Tanki Online. If you spend 7 hours at least in battles for 7 days, then you get gold. Basically active players will get it. Here is an example:

 

 

Day 1: Starts playing Hardcore

Day 28: Gets a gold box and later on does not play hard core but, some how manages to complete daily missions

Day 35: Doesn't get gold box

Day 36: Confused

Day 37: Decides that he HAS TO do missions

Day 42: Gets gold box

Day 43: Finally uses 1 gold box in STG.... STG fails. (Just in case you don't know what stg means, it means Save the gold)

Day 45: Wanted to do another STG, but mistakenly dropped it in random battle

Day 46: Crying

Day 47: Decides not to play much

Day 49: Doesn't get gold box

Day 50: Decides to play hard again

Day 56: Gets gold box again and becomes happy

Day 57: Uses it in a successful STG

Day 58: Goes out with family for 3 days... Daily chain breaks!

Day 61: Realizes he has to spend 2 weeks to get gold box!

Day 62: Decides to leave tanki

Day 101: Comes back and wants gold

Day 102: Too lazy to spend 4 weeks of effort
