Let's Discuss Perfume!

Perfume, the magical mixture that affects our sense of smell for thousands of years. Modern perfumery began in the late 19th century, but its history goes back to the 2nd millennium BC in Mesopotamia.

 

Someone likes them - someone don't, but the fact is that we encounter daily with them, whether we like it or not. They are also a challenge for chemists. They are excellent gifts sometimes - but sometimes not. And unfortunately this magical mixtures may cause health problems.

 

What's your opinion about them? Do you like them? If you know how to make them - excellent!

I always have at least two, and my favorites are "Scuderia Ferrari Red" and "Hugo Boss Pure". I buy them for myself and everyone knows that I like to pick them for myself  :D

I only use deodorants. I might use perfumes sometimes if I'm going to a special meeting, but I don't use them in daily walks nor school.

i used to use Giorgio then started using skulls and roses .. still looking for something nice but not over the top drowning in it

I like to smell good, which may sound awkward, depending on the way you read it, but, perfume's are great, they give people a nice scent which could help when it may smell bad.

What's the difference between a perfume and cologne? 

The difference is the concentration of the odorant in the bottle.

A Cologne (or Eau de Cologne or an Eau Fraiche) is between 2-5% Perfume oil (the rest being what we call a solvent or filler (usually a mix of water and ethanol/alcohol)).

While Perfume (Extrait de parfum) is between 15-25% Perfume oil.

So basically the cost make the difference.

go to any drug store or wal mart and go to the perfume counter , you will find them even AXE is power full ..in some high schools here its banned
